I've had three games recently and in each one the vickers has spazzed out horrifically.
In 2 of three games it wouldnt retreat despite the retreat icon appearing above their head and in the most recent game the badge symbol was above the units head as normal, the unit died mid pack up to retreat but the icon stayed in the game world but no units, not even the vickers was visible, the weapon stayed in my HUD aswell as a 0 man MG and was constantly in retreat mode, funnily enough, the enemy could still shoot at the non existent vickers squad as I assume they also saw the squad symbol in the game. (I dont know if it kept the popcap)
The hell have you guys done!

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

I encountered the issue you describe only once so far. My vickers got wiped, but the squad was never deleted so I could not pick it up and it took up popcap.
However at the time I think there were very weird collision problem because by tank was driving into the vickers and I think something bugged it out at the time. However I did never encounter it another time with any MG.
