Improving the stormtrooper g43 package upgrade

As for "jager light infatry upgrade" it could provide 5 g43s with a semi auto weapon profile +1 entity for the squad it is available.

He is not talking about any specific value of DPS, but it's easier/different to balance out squads which have all the same type of weapon rather than ones which focus the damage in few models while the rest of the squad has weapons with a completely different damage profile.

Ex:
-LMG + Bolt action is fine because you want to engage at long distance and mostly static.
-Carbine + Bolt not so much. You rely on the Carbine doing the heavy lifting, therefore it having better stats individually.

It's shifting the power budget of the upgrade from an offensive standpoint to defensive values (1 extra man and constant DPS).

I wish the mod team would work on this, the g43's storms are not work getting over the pg ones or eve their own mp40's.

The commander is remnant of a time storms could get assualt rifles and the cheaper g43.
Also back in the days you could equip a shrek with g43 but not anymore, which you can with mp40.

Ok, your imagination(or lack there of) aside.
What if you wanted a ranger style or Heavier all rounder infantry, in those situation stormtroopers could need g43's. I mean the fact that they are not considered by you as elite infantry is just sad.

Also it's not a remnant feature of times past. Otherwise it would not receive buff's to it. It's seems that the mod team want's to encourage strom g43 usage. So a personnel increase the likes of fusilier squad would be quite good.

It's not weird that mp40 and shreck aren't exclusive. It's intentional and do not require fixing. Look at the patch notes when storms were changed.

Yes, 2x lmg para spam is what the game needs. Storms really don't(or rather can't) do anything outside their limited role. Which after their "ha ha I came outta no where" makes them feel like a wast of mp. Since PG's are better in every other occasion.
Giving them 1 extra man would make them more of front line unit and little more worth their cost. Hell that's why the upgrade would need to be 90-100(maybe 120) munis.

Don't immediately upgrade Storms with G43's, farm some veterancy with their MP40's first. They still have the old veterancy model with no combat benefits at vet 1 and most of their bonusses at vet 3. Also, their MP40's are already highly effective, so other infantry upgrades and tellers are more urgent.

Afterwards, if you choose to upgrade them with G43's at like vet 2, they become Ostheer's most efficient mainlines. The combination of commando camouflage, passive healing, smoke and good performance at all ranges makes them hard to push off. Flame nades don't have the oomph of bundle nades, but can be an easy way to secure cover and deny garrisons.

Compared to Pgrens they have around 5% better RA at vet 0 and 3 and 1 mp lower reinforcement cost. You give up an STG as fourth weapon, altough the model that carries it dies first anyway. The G43 upgrade is 10 munitions higher. They trade Combined Arms for passive healing (imo much better). They also get some other gimmicks like a 33% faster decapture rate and booby traps.

To conclude: their wide set of abilities make them worth it over G43 Pgrens. They hardcounter Snipers, lone squads and MG's with their camo and flame nades, while also being able to trade efficiently with enemy squads at all ranges. They can stay on the field for longer because of smoke and healing.
