Hi all, new player here. In a game like this, knowledge is half the battle, and I got tired of digging through outdated information so I made this. Not sure if anyone else would find this useful or if maybe I just didn't find an up to date resource, but figured I'd share.
Still a work in progress and I expect there are mistakes, especially when it comes to loadouts or weird damage profiles on certain weapons. The vehicle data comes from the CoH2 Tools attribute files while the weapon and dps data comes from the Attribute Editor weapon report export. DPS is not a hard stat, but nice reference for comparing the relative performance of units or what range is preferred for certain matchups.

Excellent. Keep updating it.
By the way, T-34/85 having 800 HP is a total lol lelic. Is the same tank than the 76 version, with upgraded gun. Why? Just why? should have 640 as all of the other mediums.

T34-85 weights 9 tonnes more.
Do you honestly believe all of that is different gun and turret?
It got more health, because it was better armored.
You know, like easy8 got more health and armor, because it was better protected then regular sherman.

Your logic is correct. T34/85 and E8 are "upgraded" versions of the normal medium tanks, so, they should have more health. Ok. I respect that.
But then why the P4 ausf "J" doesnt follow the same idea? It has 640 as the normal P4.

Same reason why the same gun on different units performs differently and why Zis-3 doesn't outrange LeFH 18
Balance, differentiating units from each other for flavour, or just game design. COH2 is anything but consistent.

Because relic said so.
34/85 has same armor, but 160 more health.
Ez8 has 80 health and extra armor.
P4 J has same health, but extra armor.
They all have increased survivability, just in different ways.

Panzer IV J was a downgrade that should actually be a worse tank overall.
It'd actually be kind of cool though if they gave it slightly higher HP (maybe 720 like the M4A3E8), but far slower turret traverse and worse visibility.
That or it could be cheaper without the bonus HP, since that was the intention of the J series anyway.
