Balancing the Jackson(and USF AT options)

Lately theres been lots of discussion if the jackson is OP a not. I feel that while the jackson is a extremely strong TD. Its fast, can engage almost all axis armour, has a turret, it has to be to make up for the utter lack of any reliable AT for USF(zooks are inconsistent. USF AT gun require muni dumb to pen anything stronger than ostwind consistenly, Sherman cannot fight Pz4 on equal terms). A lot of suggestions have been made and i wil try and compile them. These are some suggestions i found that i feel will balance the Jackson while making USF playable in late game.

1) Decrease the jackson Hp and add another late unlock Stronger USF AT gun.

2)Decrease the jackson speed

3) Add M10 and put M36 behind another tech.

4) Give RE rifleman mines, buff M1 AT gun stock pen , decrease HVAP reload and cost, Make jackson 3 shot kill.(my personal addition)

5) Add ranger super zooks, make jackson 3 shot.

6) Buff sherman HP to panther level(make it 130 fuel) and make jackson 3 shot kill.

i like to here what do people think of these changes?

My bad i was referring to OKW PZ4 and OST vet 2 P4.

LOL no it cannot. It requires more micro and is far less likely to bounce a hit from an OST P4 than the other way around.

As for this thread, another solution looking for a problem.

In a sit and slug it's anyone's game, on the move the M4 has a very real advantage due to moving accuracy. You of course would never admit to that so I don't know why I'm wasting my time but there it is

I suggest to turn the Jackson into an effective medium killer, that struggle to pen heavy, then give him a permanent upgrade/change for X ammo that lowers rof, turret traverse and speed but massively increase pen and maybe damage

Does penetration increase when shooting while on the move?

Good moving accuracy is useless if you can't penetrate enemy armor

Attacking the flanks is actually difficult and most of them are killed by AT guns in the rear

This exactly. OST (which has way WAY too much AT and team weapons available) always has like 2 AT guns protected by an MG42 or 4 Grens.

Does a shots, that does not hit, penetrate?

In order to penetrate you need to hit the target first , do you want to know what chance a PzIV has to hit a Sherman while the PzIV is moving and what chance a Sherman has to hit a PzIV if the sherman is moving?

İf there is 2 sherman and 1 ost p4 you are right. Funny to see axis player who obsessed with USF. Usf is now balanced and good faction can hold aganist axis. İ think thats problem for you guys.

Sherman is actually not that bad againts ost p4. If you calculate the price difference and quick repairs it is actually very good. Play ostheer and test for yourself.

sherman cant penetrate Pz4

You claimed:

Good penetration is equally useless if you can't hit anything

If memory serves p4 has 20 more armour and the sherman has like 10 more pen. Hardly a one sided fight. The sherman is far from helpless and on the move is advantaged. Play to your own strengths and stop complaining the enemy is stronger when you play by theirs.

Give USF at an upgrade which costs 60mu, grants +50 pen and +50% reload time, lock ap ablily(vet 1 take aim still usable), upgrade unlock when reaching major tech.

Then m36 can get a price reduction along with reload and/or health nerfs.
