4 men squads is an argument - especially for ost. You seem to forget about stock heavy churchill you have, and new buffed centaur.

may be i'm missed the patch, but what buff for centaur ? newly ?

Its an argument exclusively against snipers, pretty much all AoE in game was balanced to not wipe non clumped up 4 man squads.

Allied infantry firepower is also balanced against grens/volks instead of 6 man pfussies or 6 man ass grens.

Also, which buffed centaur you are talking about? Last thing it received in regards to its firepower was a nerf including massive nerfs to its vet1.

A) Grens have damage reduction and Ost can play with larger squads of all kinds if you want to avoid having 4 men.

True - but only at vet 3 and they got it instead of other stat that got nerfed. Still these squads are 4 men. Tis is related to more problems related to recrewing weapons, losing 25% dps with just one model killed on approach, the need to retreat sooned - before damaging your opponent much, and so on. It relates to close combat wxpensive squads such as panzergrens too.

B) Thefuk does other tanks existing matter when the point is that the MGs on the cromwell are currently only firing confetti

I'd say it's true only against OKW with more squads that have more models. That's why it is so difficult to balance it out. But you have the next tier with churchill and comet. Maybe that is why crom is sort of stopgap until you get sth bigger.

It is better against inf., so it is a very good all round tank now.

That is inaccurate Vet 1 ability of Centaur was not nerfed in years.

Actually it was last time buffed in May 2018
20mm Strafing Fire ability now has a minimum traverse of 15 meters
20mm Strafing Fire ability cost reduced from 50 to 30

Other problems exist - need to retreat more quickly, with one model you lose 25% of dps, more risky to chase vehicles with shrecked panzergrens, etc. It is not only sniper.

"Last thing" implies last change. It can be 10 minutes, it can be 10 years. Learn English finally.

That traverse change made the ability from infantry eraser to mild annoyance.
Cost was reduced so anyone would still want to use it - no one did since.

Seriously, dude? Can you provide a patch note about buffing centaur in the last 6 month? And centaur is an AI, AA tank that cant fight tank, how can it translate into "good all round tank"

Lets just mount a 17 pdr on a churchill crocodile and have it tow a land mattress.

Joking aside the UKF really struggles unless it has an ally to provide decent indirect fire, especially rocket arty.

This is the last change to the vet 1 ability and it is actually a buff.

The vet ability 1 does more damage the longer the traverse radius is, by increasing the radius the made sure the ability does more damage with less micro, since before one could set it up to fire at single point doing very little damage.

PLS stop writing complete BS for things you do not understand in your feeble attempt to defend something that simply wrong. Grow at learn to acknowledge your mistakes, its will save all off us allot of time.

Yeah. Before you could use the vet 1 ability to erase squads but now the ability is forced to be much more spread out and is only useful vs blobs. It was a clear nerf and was well deserved because it was just silly how easy it was to wipe full health squads with it.

If you price it right... it could lead to so interesting stall tactics.

What if we made a bulldozer chrchill that could shovel emplacements all around the map repositioning them?

Not saying it wasn't deserved, but claiming it was a buff only because it got a cost decrease with it is plain stupid.

That is inaccurate. Before the change the ability would fire for the length of the traverse user input requiring more micro.

The user could not fire concentrate more because the ability would end prematurely. Ability now has guaranteed traverse with less delay for user input. This was done for making the unit player friendly and not as nerf. Other changes reduced the Centaur's squad wiping capabilities.

I don't thinks that's possible (in-game or in real life).

If we're going down the fantastical-&-impractical path, how about a Churchill with a mine flail that shreds infantry on contact?
