Was a great game vs rank 1 axis team. Truely epic match, 1 hour slugfest for vps. Should defenitely watch, one of the best game i have played in a while.

Shouldn't understimate 2x ost on this map (or any map) at the moment though. Would say it's currently pretty solid. (That is ofcourse if you play them correctly like they did.)

In the previous patch with double ost on this map it would probably be rape, with the classic penal hordes and mortar pits. Things are different right now.

Feel like ost is pretty solid at this map at the moment. The more urban area might be a problem early on but that can be solved with pgrens and flamers later on. On the more ooen sides of the map ost defenitely works out. Rather hard to flank mg 42s and ost mortars lasering down anything at sight. Or even better imagine a flame halftrack rush :D.

But yeah allies got some advantages in return aswell like better close range units for on the urban sids if the map. Funily these werent really used in this match though.

Overall, gg wp from both sides.

Indeed atm i like this map more as axis in 3vs3. Last patch it was perma vetoed. Thx to the mortarpits and landmatraz.

But now without that and facing wehrmacht mortar+ flamerhft :P Things changed

But ofc 1 okw and 1 wehr would be great too. medic into walking stuka ;)

Yeah. Faced an okw with firestorm on this map recently. Was just a nightmare. Isg smoke and flamers everywhere. Even commandos couldn't stop it. Have been thinking about vetoing this map as allies ever since that moment ^^.

Imo it still deserves a perma-veto as axis, in 3v3 at least. What are you supposed to do if the allies players turtle? You have no real opportunity to do a flanking maneuver on this map. If they get rocket arty(and they will), it gets even more messy because due to the map being very thin, units tend to be clustered together and you barely have any space to dodge the rockets :guyokay:

--> usually no exciting gameplay, and the classic "axis need to win the tank battle or they will get erased by arty spam" on this map
