and why you think brits are bad in 1v1? they have strongest infantry and easy access to counter snipe

Strong in 1v1 or not, everyone else was just spamming soviets, so it was refreshing someone was willing to use Brits seriously.

There's always a few that want to take away the legitimacy of my win. Luvnest could have done exactly the same thing if he wanted to but did not. Are you going to say that I used a OP strategy with Ostheer as well? Please.

The Land Mattress should require 2 or 3 more CP's and 30-40 more fuel. But most players still struggled to win with Brits in the tournament. And besides, for $1300 I expect all the available abuse to be abused TBH.

Correct me if I´m wrong, but in every match, the allies player could have won easily if he just would have chosen soviet and abused/spammed the hell out of maxims/T70´s. (<-- watch the final games of NA March Finals and you know what I mean). But fortunately, all players in EU tournament cared about their gameplay-aesthetics, and we saw just beautiful and brilliant strategies everywhere
. I´ve seen so many people who said "Hans won the final match with p2w only!", but this is just wrong, besides that the big majority of his strat was excellent micromanagement. It is not fair to say that because he used 1 unit which is broken af at the moment. ADDITIONALLY, the British Forces don´t have access to decent artillery (Saxton sucks) except the land matress, so what you wanna do if you need arty???

In my opinion maxim spam is over and done with, and really works only as cheese. Not a tournament level strat but something you can try to win games quick in matchmaking where people aren't expecting it and can get overrun by the mass, like volk spam or something like that.
I haven't followed the NA scene after ESL but few streams that I've watched it seems like they've realized how to play vs. maxim spam effectively, and that's the point about cheese. You might get easy wins at first but if the player knows how to play vs. your cheese you can't win without changing your strategy.
Really what I'm saying here it's not like EU valiantly stopped maxim spamming because it was too easy, but because it didn't work anymore.
Or who knows I'm drunk and it's 4am

Nah VonIvan won with maxim spam till the very end, difference is that he used Partisans to ambush the light vehicles and capitalise on other opportunities. A very all-in early game strategy but it worked out most of the time. Whereas the European players usually went for doctrines with call-in tanks / T34-85.

Regardless, this is an important tournament where you would do whatever you could to achieve victory. You didn't see Aimstrong stop using centaurs, or VonIvan stop using maxims because they were OP did you? I mean come on.

Thanks Aerafield. It's like some people conveniently forget that I beat Lunest's Soviets which he recently had a 90 + something streak on until recently.
