Nice write-up Ami!

Considering the history of the museum I would be surprised seeing a lot of german armor. It did start out as Sowjet Museum in Eastern Germany (1967). I'm not much of a tank fan, but the german tank museum could be worth a look, if you're into german tanks (and are in germany ;)):

For all who dont know about this side:

Listed are there all remaining WWII tanks known to exist. Its interesting to follow, because pdf files get updated once a restoration project makes progress.

Nice piece. Slightly OT: does anyone know a museum that has a good collection of Hobart's funnies, the weird, modified Churchill tanks (a la the AVRE and Crocodile)?

The model on display is mounted on a Soviet ZiS 151 general-purpose truck of postwar production.

Its not ZiS, but ZiL =)

What's the difference? Isn't it the same company? BTW I copied that stuff directly from the placard.
