A-E the basic idea for this tournament is great just don't get stressed out.The idea that qualifiers have to actually play in at least 2 of the brackets is fine and the games leading up to the tournament will be better.I think this will be a win-win for everyone.Just my opinion.

The spreadsheet/ladder scraper that I designed and Janne programmed can do it all. It can give you an average ladder ranking for all factions, or pick your best allies and best axis and drop the rest. It was refined over many tournies. We only ever used it for seeding advice tho, never as a quali method.

Good that you will be putting it to continued use, but I hope when you namedrop credit, you mention me as well as Janne.

Don't worry you're already credited on the tournament hub on the credits tab. And have been verbally credited on stream already.

To be honest everything is falling into place I'm not stressed. But my formula will be tweaked mainly because the tournament is getting bigger and bigger and as is the prizepool therefore a more accurate approach will be necessary. However the principles will remain the same.

Maybe add a no smurf accounts to the rules.

There is, "Players must use their main accounts, no smurfs. Unknown players will be assessed." :P

If a player gets banned from CoH2 and creates a (new) smurf account, does this new smurf count as his main account then? Kappa

I think rules are different for banned people, as the people who are banned most of the times did something wrong ^^

This tournament is being ran by coh2.org staff members that happen to love coh2.org but it is not being ran as an 'official' coh2.org tournament or as an 'official' relic tournament, it's an independent cross community project.

As it's independent you will see that hopefully it includes as much of the community as possible. (which is a win-win for everyone).

That said I think it would be wonderful if this could bridge the gap for future projects, and we can start seeing the coh2 community as one big collective not as different websites. Despite any misgivings in the past.

Let's all love one another like Jesulin told us to do.

Thank you for an exaplanation, I was never against Relic and their community, actually I was always open to them. I just have feeling that they were never too much open to us

I´m a big optimist and I think that after WBP, coh2 will be better place than ever :sibHeart:
