British Fronts Tournament

MonolithicBacon proudly presents, in collaboration with |GB| TheHooligan486, the first British Fronts Tournament!

Details

Before picking the factions, the players will veto maps from the map pool. First the players will do a coin toss. The winner of the coin toss chooses to either do the first veto or pick the faction first. Obviously, if the winner of the coin toss chooses to pick the faction, the loser gets the first veto and vice versa.

Map Vetoes

Map veto will be done first. So if the winner of the coin toss chooses to pick the faction he/she is not obliged to pick the faction until the map is determined.

The first two vetoes will be on the same map. The second to last veto in the veto process for game 1 and 2 will be the map that's played in game 3.

Faction Selection

If the winner of the coin toss chooses to veto first, the loser gets faction selection in game 1. If the winner chooses faction selection the winner will get faction selection in game 1, the loser in game 2. For the third, whoever has the Victory Point lead, from the two previous games (VPs in case of defeat do NOT count, Only VPs from your victory count), chooses first.

Other Details

If somebody disconnects within the first 7 minutes, the game will be played again. If there is any sign of cheating during the games, contact the referees. They will decide what happens.

The winning player of the match must upload all 2-3 games, and link them into the tournament thread within Events Central (thread will be given to the players later). You risk of being banned from future events, if you don't upload all your games! So don't forget!

Time

The sign ups close at 24:00 CET, November 19th. The tournament will be played on Sunday, 20th of November! The brackets will be uploaded within 15 minutes after the check-ins close. The finals and the 3rd place match will be played on the 30th of November!

Prizes

You can help to raise the prize pool for this tournament by donating to |GB| The Hooligan486. 90% of the donation will be used for the prize pool and 10% will go towards our Master Mapmaker: MonolithicBacon! Details about how much money we raised and a thank you to all donators will be written in a recap article after the tournament!

You need a valid Paypal account to get the money from the prize pool, if you have not got one then make sure to make one before entering this tournament!

The prize pool will be divided as follows:

• 1st Place: 50%
  
• 2nd Place: 30%
  
• 3rd Place: 20%

Games will be casted live by Stormless If you want to know when Stormless is broadcasting those games, then please follow him on twitch and keep an eye on the ticker of COH2.ORG!

|GB| The Hooligan486 will also be streaming while he is playing 1v1 games against high level players like TüMe, Talisman and Noggano on the maps that are allowed to raise the prize pool! He will also be casting games of high level players with casters like Miragefla or Stormless! Make sure to tune in to one of these streams and enjoy some good fun before the tournament. Closing
