If "EVERYONE" is using the exploit as Allies there will surely be no Axis players for EVERYONE to make their point against.

To that end, have player numbers dropped much since this became widespread knowledge? I know I've lost my appetite until another tasty patch (with nonsense flavor text) comes along.


Exactly! So in your example there will be no opponents and automatch will effectively be broken so they would be inclined to fix it.

First off the EVERYONE thing doesnt work. Secondly it does not take 5 min to fix and anyone with an ounce of coding experience would know this.


Perhaps I am more use to companies like Blizzard being pro-active and positive about balance and their game.

Even Blizzard messes up big time. There's currently a fly hack going around for WoW (thankfully easy to track/ban), some major exploits to allow capturing of bases in rated battlegrounds uncontested just got patched after existing for nearly an entire expansion cycle. Even this PvP season patches were released with undocumented changes/hugely impactful bugs like abilities completely ignoring core game mechanics.

StarCraft II, I have to admit has an amazing team working on it. The balance was super shit in the beta but over the course of its release history the balance has been solid, and I can't remember any game-breaking exploits... I'm sure there have been one or two at some point... maybe. Only problem with SC2 is/was some of their design decisions with units like spider mines/swarm host, HoTS has been a pretty shitty expansion because of those units and their reluctance to gut them until LotV comes out.

That being said... Blizzard tends to have more stable games and quicker patch cycles, but they're also a much bigger company.

Well from my COH Elite Modding experience: If COH2 abilities are setup the same way as vCOH's it does only take 5 minutes seconds to fix

And most painfull experience after all this things with abuse , patch , relic , is that half coh2 community act like beliebers . Relic doing poop on heads and they still smile and defend them. FailFish

You actually do believe that you were the reason for this fix?

And if you have checked Ami's posts, it's not always roses to Relic. It is also criticism. But it seems that you fail to see anything besides your own excellence.

The abilities can be fixed easy yes, but since you seem to know how to code, changing different aspects also require adjustments of other things as well. The bug was caused when 2 different entities and properties were combined. The fix then is not a 5 second fix upon the premise that now test need to be done, parameters analyzed and so on. Though people have a point its been here since WFA alpha (Stuart bug) and its been ample time to be fixed, but common anything that messes with a code of a structure is not a flick of a switch bam everything is perfect.

JUst lets blame sega for destroying or favorite games ^^!


in case any off you thinks coding its easy just download unity engine and try to make a dooll moving shooting and jumping and just see who long it takes to code !!
