Looking forward to watching the finals and as much of the brackets as possible!
2v2 has really grown on me in the last three years and I think it's thanks to Currahee, GBHooligan, and Sturmpanther's work with these 2v2 tournaments we've had consistently.
Let's hope we see some interesting builds, will it be mixed factions only or will we allow double faction builds this time?

I'm really happy that we are able to organize this tournament. Special thx to the sponsors since without them this Tournament would not happen!
I hope the Ultimate Team Tournament Series will be a reference tournament for the 2v2 game mode. I have a question! In order to sign up you need at least a top 200 1v1 rank or top 200 2v2 rank, but does the 2v2 rank have to be with randoms? Or can it be arranged team with the person you're signing up with? Like say you're both placed as an AT at rank 90, does that qualify?

My dream team
lUVNEST joinig forces with Thedosios! Theo was one of the best coh2 players in 1v1 and 2v2 when I started to play the game; I hope he comes back again! Always liked his playsytle.

Why exactly is "double faction" team not allowed? Is it for diversity? I think it should be allowed for axis at least, especially if we want to draw any conclusions about faction performance in hands of pro players in 2v2. It would also be refreshing to see some 2xOst or 2xOKW and not OKW+Ost every game throughout the entire tourney.
Also I think that it would be better if rails and metal (which is pretty narrow = bad map) was replaced by fields of winnekendonk, at least that map is very interesting with bunch of cut offs and nonlinear play. On rails it will be just ISU/JT/Ele every single match.
Crossing in the woods is meh too, it's just too small for 4 players, even after rework that hardly changed anything. It's still about rocket arty to enemy base without even having to leave your own base sector.
Elst and Eindhoven are really good maps though!
