Well oke, perhaps you can't, but I certainly can win a game with 5 m4c shermans supported by multiple cons or snipers/maxims.
We're all waiting for replay!
|
It are 2 rakettens with 2 leigs. The point he makes is valid, but we can't argue about his strategies or whatever, since he didn't post a replay, but we can ask questions.
Apart from that, 5 m4c Shermans wil rape any jp4 supported by raketten werfers, since you can support them by either maxim spam with snipers or conscript horde, the latter being my favorite supporting blob of doom for the sherman horde.
Now back to those questions. Did he place enough mines, where is the triple shreck support? These are questions I like to ask.
Actually, i had a game with 5 M4Cs and no, they will not rape a shit because of paks/ shrecks / etc.
They can dish out some damage but that's it. |
Man, this thing rotation plan is so awful... Compare it to Zis-3, with ZIS you click to backpedal AT gun to some point, and a crew actually backpedals a gun to the point. With 6-pounder... hmmm... this process is kinda 50|50 - like RNG decides which one plan to use - or backpedal or rotate the gun.
I MEAN pls ffs make 6-pounder to NOT rotate when i want to retreat this gun and use "backpedal" mode.

I think its gonna be great, adjustments will be made when not. But since Allies have a huge edge in all game modes in current game state I feel great about this patch.
My friend is a developer himself, and he told me that last day before the update the last thing that he thinks of is users' wishes. |
Rate of fire is what I care about. Damagewise that's twice as much as a T70, with much better armour.
I prefer t70 over Valentine day and night! |
If you have problem with countering squishy generalist medium tank that can't bounce anything, its your problem, not balance.
Only really superior tanks require tech.
If you want to bind this one to tech, then so should be done for ost puma and ost command tank together with OKW command panther.
I agree, there is room in the game that contains some call-in vehicles.
OP, try the doctrine yourself, this Sherman cannot stand vs axis AT weaponry, and, not like Ez8 , it doesn't have crew repair and 800 health. Its more like t34-76 with MG upgrade and more acceleration, but crazy fuel cost (80 vs 125 or something like that) |
Oh, and you forgot about a fact that Oorah! is a soviet version of vet.1 blitz on ost vehicles, only that it works on vodka and thus requires no vet (russians don't need vet to drink vodka) |
I'd be happy if it had a bit shorter of a cooldown, but I dunno. When used with the valentine it can fire pretty frequently and it can dish out a ton of damage.
I'd love to use it more to really get a feel for it, but it's fucking impossible. By the time you can get 9 cp's and the resources to call out a valentine and a sexton, you're facing down medium tanks.
I'm not very quick to say things are unviable. I think it's a terrible word that people use to describe "hard to use", but jesus christ on a pickle I haven't been able to make royal artillery work at all in any semblance of a real game. I'm still trying to get it to click by focusing on playing a longer t2 and not even teching up to t3 but it's risky as hell to play Brits without proper armour. (It's possible, but I find it difficult)
Using the sexton on its own just seems like doing the doctrine wrong, it's meant to be used in synergy with the valentine. But getting both of them and then keeping the valentine alive to vet 1 is just UGHGHLA>kndcl.asnbf right now.
Have you ever tried to get trashcan (I'm sorry, Valentine) to vet1? It deals 80 dmg with its gun and it is slow for such light tank |
And then you get a shock when relic don't count your arguments. |
War... War never changes. And threads like this never changes.
XXX: But your Tanks are so OP!
YYY: So is your infantry!
XXX: But inf. need upgrades!
YYY: Because of asymmetrical balance
blah-blah-blah.
