Is anyone else having a issue where there steam friends list window goes into a not responding state when launching COH2? The friends window goes pale and into windowed mode and if i left click it i get the options to close program or wait for it to respond. Same goes for any steam chat window i have open but the main steam window its self is fine. It does not fix its self until i close COH2. It only started happening since the steam friends list changed to the new version. Its very annoying and its not rare it does it virtually everytime i start COH2, probably at least 70% of the time. When it does it i cannot see leaderboards or invite friends to games so im also wondering if its messing up the match making for me as well.

Ive tried verifying COH2 cache and that is all fine and if i manually check for steam updates it says its up to date.

Any help/suggestions will be much appriecated.

Have you tried working with your teammate? If OKW is bullying you currently in teamgames you're doing something wrong. You say you get rushed by 2x sturms, but where is your teammate with IS, or cons, or rifles. Of course you're going to lose vs 2x charging sturms against an RE and a rifle.

This doesnt make sense to me Shadowlink. OKW start with x1 SP and USF start with x1 RE. The OKW player builds a 2nd SP and the USF player builds a RM. Thats x2 SPs vrs x1 RE and x1 RM in a 1v1 vacuum.

The biggest problem is some of the larger team game maps have narrow lanes with very predictable retreat paths and if a SP gets on your retreat path early game it can be gg in the first few minutes.

No starting unit should have that much wipe potential early game, its very bad design.

I guess nothing will ever change now as COH2 is so old but imo the kubel should of been OKWs starting unit.

I miss this map alot it was one of my favourites.

There is alot of people blaming Mr Smith for the balance which i dont think is completely fair. I mean the guy took time out his own life to try and make the game better for everyone.

Have you not seen the state of these balance forums, how the hell is someone suppose to know whats going on with all the biased BS that is posted on here. Dont get me wrong these forum have done a huge amount for COH2 but the balance forums are a mess. They are completely toxic and massively dictated by the axis only army of half a dozen people. Even the main number cruncher will only post stuff that is a arguement for axis, if its a allies unit underperforming they magically vanish and you dont hear from them. There is a very very small handful of people that speak truthfully but they just get shot down by the same biased people over and over again. I certainly wouldnt want to be the one to try and balance the game and keep everyone happy. Most balance problems are the bit between the keyboard and the chair but now the game is a joke.

Simple rules like player cards required to post on the balance forum would make a huge difference to the discussions here as you would know who to listen to and who to ignore. It would kind of like be your COH2 CV. Fact is alot of things that were changed was what people asked for, but the problem is its littered with extremely biased people.

Sorry to post this on here but the thread is going of topic so i just wanted to say how i see it.

Best Buy matched price at $469 USD. Installed card, drives and Coh2 worked perfect!

So sad to see AMD have these issues. I should have just stuck with nvidia, but since my monitor had freesync I tried AMD, never again!

No offense but this video doesnt even mention AMD. I dont understand how your blaming AMD for a 3 year old video that talks about a problem and a fix for windows 10. For all you know the guy in the video had a nvidia card in the machine.

I hope you have more luck with COH2 and your 1080 than me.

From my experience/understanding COH2 and nvidia 1080 = bugsplat, bugsplat, bugsplat, bugsplat.

My 980 never bugsplat once but it does every couple of games with my 1080. Same goes for all of the other people i know that upgraded to the 1080.

I really hope this isnt the case for you as its bloody annoying.
