If you don't have Fusiliers, Fallschirms they can close the gap between the crappy Volks and the Rambo Obers pretty decent ...., but require much more micro than other units to be effective. Thread: Countering Snipers15 Aug 2014, 22:47 PM As my german Sniper just got killed by Partisans in the last game I played today it should't be hard for an OKW Player to spawn Fallschirms/Jägers (sound akward ^^) in a nearby building to get rid of soviet snipers. If the map doesn't allow this, you should go for Füsiliers cause they have impressive long range firepower and 6 men per squad. Also the Jagdtiger can help with a posible ISU152 later on ...... Goddamn, BARs or 1919 Mg's on Rifles or even Airborn is absolutly devastating to the Oberkommando when evething apart from Obers won't even stand a small chance to win an engagement. You have to consider that the Ostheer only has very weak grens and Pgrens (on a level with sturms *lol)and you complain about Rifles and Airborne????? In: COH2 Balance

There's a huge gap where he can only rely on shreks and rakettens, punish him with HE! And even if, you have the strongest TD in the game with just 120 Fuel use it goddamnit....... Btw: If the KT gets doctrinal, which price should he get? 400 Fuel? Cause all Trucks + Kt are that expensive, and that's too low for you? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: How to beat soviets?8 Aug 2014, 20:05 PM Soviets are MUCH MUCH MUCH harder to beat than USF just massivly harder. I'm strugling against almost EVERY Strat. -> Soviet T1+ Guards fuck up everything. M3 and Snipers drain your Sturms, Volks are useless against Infantry Strafniki and guards just chew them up ..... ->Maxim Spam in the early + Zis KV8 in the Late and some incendary barrages ... you need a T1 (ISG early retreat piont) to counter the Super-Maxims so you will lack in hard AT. When you bring a Raketten it gets fucked by Barrages. (rlly annoying that the most effective Off-Map Arty is so fuckin' cheap) You'll loose your mapcountrol, quite fast and it's gg unless your opponent is a n00b. -> Pure Con Spam is really annoying and shows how strong cons are "OURRAH" should be Vet1/2 at least to give Mg34s or Kubels a chance .... -> combined arms is another deadly soviet strat due to the EXTREMLY strong team Weapons (I grab any 120mil, Maxims, ZiS-Gun I can get and they serve much better than their OKW counterparts).... And the soviets got strong Lategame-Units like Is2s, T34s and ISU's completly different to the USF, who has to rely on Sluggers (strong unit)and the HE-Shermans. Americans just can blob or overwhelm the Oberkommando in the early to get really dangerous .... i don't say they should nerf the soviets, and the balance 've been worse. But Soviets are just the most viable faction in the game, and extremly hard to deal with as OKW. In: Ostheer Strategies

But tnen the issue with the T34: 1. comes to fast 2. Is much too strong especially against Infantry .... srrsly a HE-Sherman isn't quite THAT good. It's even stronger (and cheaper) than the P4 ... -.- 3. with Industry it's so easy to just spam them and they rape everything even Paks And then braindead Tank no1 in the game ..... the fuckin' KV8 .... survives like 20 Pak shots and kill them -.- .... also spammable ... What happened to Coh where once Skill and Micro was required to win a game ... but just play Allies (some commanders are ***) and turn out your brain. In: Replays
