I've had several of these every now and then, often several times in a row. It may be noteworthy that I play with friends in AI stomps. It usually happens when we play on custom made maps, one of my friends is located in south east Asia. The distance might be affecting things but it's kind of weird as whenever we switch to stock maps there's usually no de-sync errors or crashes.
Hi, did it happen on custom maps when US forces were in the game ? You your teammate or the AI ? And more specifically when the airborn commander was used ?
Hello, since Western fronts came out I noticed sync errors on the custom maps I published. I couldn't figure out what caused it till someone mentioned in the comments from the villers bocage map that it always happends when US airborne commander is used, when they try to drop a machinegun or para sync error occurs. Yesterday I got my first sync error on my latest conversion from Relics hill 331 map This time I've sended a bug splash report to Relic. I could see the short replay and yes someone from our team used the airborne commander and just when he sended out a plane to drop a machinegun sync error occured at the exact time when the plane got to its destination and dropped it, the machinegun never hit the ground. I never sended a bug splash report before or mentioned it as I always tought there is something wrong with my conversions but if the cause is only that airborne commander maybe relic knows what it is.
and it worked fine.
Since Relic released the Western Front expansion however, these infantry only maps started to crash. As I am not a coder I don't know how to fix this. Any help is welcome.
PS: Due to the changes in world builder I had a lot of maps to fix. So I started to fix the ones that I could fix first. If these inf only maps can't be fixed I have to delete them.
Since february the 18th after I uploaded my last map (vire river winter by night) I have the same problem ... when I try to update a map I get a yellow flag with 'error code 2 unknown failure'
