Thread: So...ISU 1-shotting vet stuff?10 Sep 2014, 19:10 PM Just stop crying... Im Allies player but recently I was playing as Axis. Few times I took down ISU in less than 30sec. Elephant+Pak40 or encircling it by Panther/PzIV. It's most expensive Soviet unit. Just don't move inf near to it. If you know ISU is somewhere there, why the hell are you sending infantry to meet it? Most expesinve call in should be counter by other expensive call-in (Elephant, Jadgtiger, Tiger Ace can do the job). As OKW you even don't need call in. King Tiger or Sturmtiger (right hit can take over half hp and make crew shocked for a moment - that's the part where Volks come in and finish it. Sure, ISU is strong, I guess it should kill 3-4 models (depends on squad) and lower hp so you can run away with 1-2 models and very low hp but it's ISU and it needs to wipe out some squads. Not every single shot but more often than any other units OR give it ability like Sherman, switching shells. In the end, I'm Allies player, I know ISU power but as Axis Im glad to face it cause it's great challange. It just needs combined army. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Kübelwagen too OP8 Sep 2014, 22:01 PM No doubt Kubel+Strum is (for me) the biggest problem as Ally. Kubel alone is easy to kill. Spread units, hide inside building. But when Strum go alongside it's pain in the ass. From my experience, I need 3-4 rifle squad to push back Kubel and Strum. After that this combo is not big threat, but first impact is deadly. Nevertheless Kubel is not OP (it's OP when combine with strumpio). Useless after first few mins. Needs some buffs with vet. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Panzergrenadier needs a buff 8 Sep 2014, 13:48 PM It may be weird but I have more kills with them when compare to schock. Still, they come with truck with assault grens doctrine and then they can smash everything. Just drive behind enemy lines and stop truck close to at, mg, mortars. Even if you stop truck next to inf, they will melt every squad. Risky tactic but big risk, big win. In: COH2 Balance

But still the at gun penetrated my kt trough the frontal armor without any problems. And the Zooks cost 60, the 2 schrecks 120 for the 340 mp panzergrenadier and the okw ones 90 so i think the zooks are still ok, but i agree the price could be adjusted to 50 mun. If we look at these prices the zooks are cheaper. I guess you just forgot that bazzoka needs to be unlocked - MP+Fuel. In: COH2 Balance

Also, show me a replay where an AT gun reaches vet 2 and stays alive to be useful. Bazzoka costs more - you need to unlock it first. Usually, no matter which faction I play, I get 1 AT gun and it's very easy for me to reach 400%+ effectivness (average 700-800%) so I could give you replay of 57mm pushing back Tiger. Thread: Panther and tier 46 Sep 2014, 15:42 PM Decrease tech cost, increase cost of buildings. Ost t4 is, for me, has best units which give plenty options, but right now it s like the soviets have to build t2 and t3 to get t4. Decreasing cost of tech and putting it to buildings would solve that problem cause I ca tech to t3 without spending my reso for t3. In: COH2 Balance

AT grenades? Great on 221 or something like that, I guess, but try it on Tiger. I prefer classic AT nade. Light AT mine? I like basic soviet mine. Great vs Vehicles, even the biggest one + it gives sometimes extra damage to inf. Need no other mine. AT bombing run? I guess it's cool but I still prefer Gurads' button + FAB50 because all of this come with ISU. Interesting commander, sometimes worth to use but it will be one of the weakest.
