I think, designer thought that Cons will use Huuurah! get close to enemy and wipe with Ppsh.
The problem is before they will reach target, they will be dead

Actually plane is not that good... Yes it shows units positions BUT as axis you know soviet guy is looking for a target. You can prepare yourself, take down the plane or just move your units all the time when plane is up. In: COH2 Gameplay |

For it's price it's too weak atm even if some allied fanboys might say something else. Holy gardening pudding... Tell me, how units with 40-70 range can stun unit with 85 range? And this stun is not stunnig really. It stuns for 0,5s? Recently I caught alone JT with my Jackson at Lienne Forest behind this huge building that looks like train station. 3 shots, maybe one DVD damage, rest make stun BUT during this "stuns" JT still was able to reverse behind fuel Point, close to first bunker or flak. So this stun thing is not very punishing if in fact you can move. In: COH2 Balance |

Hominf Rifle AT nades? Rfile AT Nades are the easiet ones to dodge. I would switch HMG with AT Gun. If you go Captian you can get AT Gun, useless howi and shitty Stuart. If you Lieutenant you have nice HMG, great M20 and Great Halftrack. It looks little unbalanced... Halftrack can counter Luchs BUT early M20 is key. You just need it. Taking M20 denies Halftrack (we want go for Major for something heavy) and it this time gap between M20 - Sherman Luchs can totaly destroy everything. Sure, you can go for Cpt, At Gun and Stuart, but Stuars will be easliy countered by Schrecks or Puma, At gun has be placed perfectly because Luchs is so fast and so durable that it can get behind very easy. Of course, you can also go for Airborne to drop AT, upgrade bazooka but using only 1 commander (which already happens) is not what we want or wasting fuel for bazooka that will be useless vs Luchs supported by Volks and Stormpios. US Forces need Pershing. Not because it's powerful, heavy etc. but because USF need something else to deal with the heaviest units. 90% games you see only Airborne.If you won't go for P47 + Jackson you are done in most cases. I remember crying about E8 that USF will only use this doctrine cause of E8 etc etc... How many E8 can you see? And how many P47? US Forces are the worst designed faction. In: COH2 Balance |

Im talking about 2v2 where I find 2x OKW as very, very hard to beat. One goes for Volks+Puma/Flak/Stuka and second goes for Obers+Panther/JT/KT. Such combination is deadly. In: COH2 Gameplay |

... That's they way you can deal with Volks in mid game. What about late game when they can come with King Tiger? I'm talking especially about USF. Jackson has hard time dealing with KT front at max range. Obvious way is to flank it, but there we have Volks. They can melt Jackson in a second so we should first take out Volks. M8 howitzer is great but very inaccurate and it take ages to make them retreat especially if they are moving. Paras LMG will be wiped by KT. My point is that OKW units are synergizing a way better than any other faction. In: COH2 Gameplay |

The way I see blobbing is this, games give the players more than they can handle. Its hard for someone to manage individual units over say 8 squads. Yes blobbing is lame, yes blobbers can just "a" move, but look at other games at a competive level... Cossacks 1, Battle for Middle-Earth 2. Try to blob in these games, try just A-move and you will be punished like a pudding. Cossacks 1 is for me the greatest RTS ever, while BFMII has best physics and it shows up how paper-rock-scissors mechanism should work. In: COH2 Gameplay |
