I really hope this tourny gets done and more come, the maps are great as is. Considering you did all six in a month is stellar. I understand how frustrating the feedback has been. Please just dont let it get to you. This community is hard to please sometimes. |

Maybe severely reducing its ROF. 120mm shells cant be light, and especially having one man hoist a shell into the mortar over and over is unrealistic.
Given its range, damage, ease of use, early arrival, no fuel cost, I think its rate of fire could be the thing to put a damper on. I dont really know the specific of the unit but if its standard barrage is 6 volleys, reduce it to 3 if your manually aiming. Let it keep the presicion strike with vet. On auto fire have the thing just shoot less over time. Or only target support weapons for auto fire. Either dont let the thing retreat (tbh it really shouldnt be allowed to) or reduce the crew size and dont let it survive with one soldier remaining.
Doing this will still make the unit easy for its cost, and I think making the thing more fragile is not too much of a nerf.
Would the unit be balanced if it shot just 25% less? Or is that not the way or enough? |
What about crits? Do you deal max (16) damage whenyou hit with a crit or does it do more? |
Everything that wehrman is true. The golden age of Vcoh has passed. It will not get released, and probable no new patches. However to say that it is not a great game is untrue, sure some things should change(staghounds,sniperspam) but really there are 50 more reasons why I dont play coh 2.
And no, the elite player base probably will not grow and "everyone who played coh1 are playing coh2" for no other reason than how old the game is. What were all the elite players doing 6-8 years ago? Not everyone has the time to devout 10-45 minutes to one game like they could years ago.
What the game really needs is a community that will encourage new players to not only play but to stick around and get better and to contribute to the future of coh, either thru elite mod or just 2v2 random on the weekeds. |

Vanilla factions were manly the focus for the elite mod. PE and Commonwealth have been worked on as well but vanilla is the focus here |

I really enjoyed his streams. I would tune in every day. He streamed alot. Talented player with a wealth of knowledge. But when your attitude creates 5-10 trolls, take a step back and hopefully change what you want to get back out of this game. |
In vcoh the mg42 had a higher accuracy at the more models that it fired at. I dont know if that is true for coh2, but overall the mg42 is very disappointing.
Give it a manual reload, Its discerning when you do have the mg in a great spot and it shoots about 5 bullets before reloading.
Without buffing it to much, increase suppresion at blobs. 1200 bullets per minute should be enough for 10-15 guys to hit the dirt.
I dont know much of the bulletins but maybe they can stack and/or do something. vet 2 sounds like it scales well enough, sounds like early game is the op issue. Also sounds like mg42 should be good because its the mg42...thats gets us nowhere.
