Thread: why hasn't OKW been nerfed yet?19 Feb 2015, 09:54 AM I find OKW OP is few things: Kubel. On some maps in can deny any fuel and hold you even for few minutes. Relic neferd RE volley fire because it is to punishing to retreat at the beggining, yet Relic kept Kubel with such ability Truck. Pushing out of the cover, suppress by Kubel, wipe by SP Panther. In team games, 12min Panther is something normal. In 1v1 you can get it around 15-18min. OKW lacks of medium armor, but it's compensate by quick Panther so in fact you can't notice any inconvenience because of lack of medium. Panther should arrive around 20. This should come along with raketen buff. But it's not the biggest problem. Obers. Double Obers wiping everything. No counter except armor. Lower long range dps to 15-16. Same for 1919. Flak Base. It completely denies capping points in 1v1. Put it next to VP/ammo (north spawn) and whole battle will be around south spawn fuel. In: COH2 Balance

Running away from Jadgpanzer - normal thing. Only 1 Jackon was able to get vet 2 and it was in the end because rest of them died before they could reach it. Considering single squads are what make up blobs all those weapons remain effective counters. And with the flamers thing, it's about having the inevitable critical mass of them. But yeah it sucks that there isn't a lot more mobile and static artillery in the game, OKW and Ostheer could at least use some more options. The 105 howitzer is pathetic. Really? Does OKW need commander for: Elite infantry? Heavy tank? Super indirect fire? ... ... OKW does not need commander at all. In fact, OKW has everything in tiers. Even this shitty leig gun, if you just leave it behind lines, it can get 30+ kills on its own, without even touching it and what's more important, OKW can get leig easily since MP float. How about SU? Elite inf? Doctrinal. Heavy tank? Doctrinal Indirect fire? Doctrial. Everything is doctrinal. The only useful stock units (if we are talking about late-game because its all about) are snipers, katy and sometimes SU85. So don't say that the games is based around commanders because it is only for Soviets, just little for Ostheer - Tiger call-in but there are many doctrines with Tiger, same for USF (LMGs) but it has nothing to do with OKW. Also OKW's Volks+Obers+Jaeger/Panzerfusi/Falsch blob covered by Jadgpanzer/Panther OR 2 raketens is untouchable unless you have very lucy hit with howitzer, katy or mortar - what's very unlikely since blob is in costant move. Rly? Now compare Stuart to Luchs. Unsupported Stuart dies in a seconds vs okw. Unsupported Luchs can sow terror. Even catching it with double AT guns wont stop it. In: COH2 Balance
