Next time: attack move instead of engaging SP at close range. RNG, yes but Paras with lmgs have higher dps than 3 models of SP. I think its about insane vet. Let's compare them to Paras, pure fighting unit. - -29% received accuracy - +25% accuracy. 3 men SP can deal with 6 men Paras with LMGs at close/mid range. Dont belive me? The RE squad helps the Riflemen squad to win the engagement, its not about retreating or whatever. If you blob into any suppression unit over red cover your whole army will retreat - OMG PLEASE NERF. It's not about forcing retreats in early game, it's about units and their dedicated purpose. Kubel is a support unit. One SP one Kubel squad. Kubel helps SP to win engagement. What's the difference? Except that Kubel is a way better at suppressing than VF was. In: Lobby

Relic nerfed volley fire because they won the engagement against any other unit they were facing, while being only a builder/supporter unit. Builder/Support units are not supposed to win engangments against combat squads on their own. You are comparing apples and pears. Otherwise you could also complain about maxims and HMG doing also their job, but you chose not, because crying about OKW is so fashionable nowadays. It's not about unit. It's about effect. VF was too strong because it forced 1 squad to retreat. Kubel can force few squads to retreat in the early game but VF was OP and Kubel is not according to Relic. Like I said it was not about unit. They were like Panzergrens before the nerf, now they are rather Assault Engineers with 0.87 received accuracy. They are more like PzGrens than AssaultEngi. AssaultEngis have stable dps and then lose all power on 8meter. SP have excalty same profile of weapn like PzGrens. I mean not dps but behave of the dps will range. PzGrens just lose less than SP but the profile is very similar. In: COH2 Balance

Pak40 - OST unit. #ProAxisDesign And keep in mind that Guards are supposed to hard counter 222 if you go too deep. Button was very useful but breakable. Now it's useless like most allied abilities. It's Volley Fire and Kubel. Voller was veru useful but was nerfed because it was too punishing to retreat unit so fast and let's rememeber that it costs 20, has a timer and RE are not mobile suppression platform. On the other hand they gave us Kubel which is doign excatly same thing (but way better) which RE did before nerf In: Lobby
