Well I can't right now but between with what you found when you did cheat mode and what the stats say, it sounds like the panther would win. You said it yourself didn't you, that the panther won?
You are not taking all stats for better view.
Panther has 73% to penetrate.
KV has only 50%.
But
KV has more health.
Faster reload (on siege)
and higher damage.
It wins 50% and loses 50% but on becasue of bouncing from Panther's armor but because of missing and shooting the ground all the time. |
Damn, I need to drop this commander with recoup losses and try this |
Laptop.
8GB ram
i7 4270 HQ 2,5GHz
GTX 960M
Win10.
Battlefield - high.
Battlefront - medium/high.
TES Online - high.
No drops even when there is some huge explosion.
CoH2 - medium. 2v2 is quite decent. 3v3 and 4v4 unplayable after 40min. |
good luck getting it to vet :-) also thanks for ignoring everything else, further proves my point that you have no experience with the AEC, which is in fact decent.
No, I just stopped when I saw that 222 is useless. No need to read more pudding today. |
So, the main problem with the old, much more precise and balance-able pop cap was that it didn't display the full number, so if you had 92.1 used it would display 92 and you couldn't call in sth that costs 8 even though 92+8=100.
Why didn't they just make it display the next number then, so if you had 92.1 or 92.2 or 92.3 etc. it would display 93 used? Wouldn't that prevent the unwanted effect of wrong player feedback?
Or just make total popcap 101 but display 100. Easy. |

How would it win? Panther has like 300 armor (I can't remember the exact number) while the KV2 has like 180 pen
Launch cheatmode, put KV2 in siege, put Panther on medium/far range and watch. |
only that the AEC is not overpriced, at least not as much as people make it out to be.
i am still not sure if you are being serious with all the stuff you say, or if it's just your way of fanboyism.
especially the 222 is useless pretty much the entire game. there is no point where it is unopposed. it dies to everything more than 1 mainline infantry unit straight up. gets oneshot by almost every kind of vehicle/at. scoutcar as a scout unit lategame is a waste of ressources. the aec on the other hand does pretty well at what you say: it can harass everything but schrecked pgrens (ostheer) and schrecked volks (okw) from capping. and just like you say the puma can flank SUs, the AEC can flank stugs and kill them. i am seriously starting to doubt whether you've actually ever tried the AEC.
LOL
I guess you've never used vetted 222 with scope.
PS
Puma is better than AEC in every way. |

Because you pitted a anti infantry tank against an anti armor tank who's front armor is twice the penetration value of the anti-infantry tank. Even if it always hit it still would have lost since it couldn't pen so I don't know what your point is saying that is.
You know nothing. Siege kv2 will always win vs Panther when sitting in front of each other, unless you miss like 4-5 shots.
Do some tests before saying such pudding |
It's very simple.
AEC has no purpose on the field once he killed/kept at bay Luchs.
Luchs, Stuart, T70 and 222 can be used in late game as a scout unit (222, T70, and Luchs with camo) or to harras single squad capping your points. They can be used all the time.
I guess AEC is more like Puma, but even Puma has late-game utility. 50 range is enough to kite medium tanks, it can also flank SUs and kill them.
Add elite armor rounds and it can become your best AT unit.
Now AEC.
Once it counters Luchs, it has nothing to do. 40 range means it cannot kite tanks like Puma. Almost 0 AI means it cannot defend your flanks.
It can only scout while other light vehicles can scout and/or fight infantry/tank.
50 range, or give it some AI power. |
I guess pop-cap is perfectly fine since we don't have any hot-fix |
