Thread: How to use panzerwerfer effectively?31 Jan 2015, 06:36 AM Howitzer + Panzerwerfer is a bit overkill if you ask me. The best way to use it in my opinion is going for a doctrine like Close Air Support or Command Tank + Pak43, any doctrine without a heavy call in. That way you can savely tech up to T4 without having to save up fuel for a callin tanks. You have the best results with Panzerwerfers wenn driving as close as you can to the designated location and use the barrage for the most effective accuracy. In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: Kappatch 2 31 Jan 2015, 03:57 AM I don't even know where to start. Call in System, A-moving LMGs, Flamer crits, OKW minesweeper adjusted ... All of the things I really wanted to get changed. Awesome work. This is probably my favourite: All 3 death crits (abandon, main gun destroyed, engine destroyed) have been removed, vehicles now always get destroyed when they reach 0 hp. Some things need a bit of testing though like the non doctrinal guards and the call in system. But I'm liking the idea about all these changes. Others have been requested for months now. I personally am a little bit scared of playing this mod because I'm afraid I won't come back to the original. Some small things that I miss at the moment (maybe I missed it in the wall of text): ambush camouflage, g43s, SU76. This patch would bring a lot more diversity to this game alongside with less frustration and more reliability without changing the playing experience. Halve ability range when suppressed for all units? Reworking of commander abilities to make more worthwhile commanders. I would welcome these future endeavours, both of them. Reducing the ability range for suppressed units would indirectly help the MG42 so that units can't run straight into the arc of fire anymore and get out their grenade. I hope it really gets the attention it deserves. Relic? In: COH2 Gameplay
