Static place your maxims, don't just supress them. What i mean is once they start crawling to you just displace and attack again. They'll still be crawling for the rifle nade.
G43s are very effective on the move but conscripts with ppsh's do just as well, also are more deadly than 43's in close range.

Agreed with everything said. It's frustrating when you have to put in twice the work to achieve the same success your counterpart gets by default. |
The only tank that doesn't do decent infantry dmg is panther? But also is the argubly the best in the game at its role tank hunter...But also is the argubly the best in the game at its role tank hunter...But also is the argubly the best in the game at its role tank hunter...But also is the argubly the best in the game at its role tank hunter...But also is the argubly the best in the game at its role tank hunter...But also is the argubly the best in the game at its role tank hunter.
I'll take a ff with heat seekers for 155 fuel Pat!!! |
First of all this is not a rant and i don't mean to troll, i'm just curious to hear the point of view from more experienced players.
I'm by no mean an expert like many on this forum are but i consider myself a decent player, as the title says i mostly play OKW as Axis and now i have started to learn how to play OST and after several games with some friends it really looks to me that the Ostheer is inferior in almost every aspect compared to his big brother OKW.
This feeling is further consolidated by the fact that when i play Allies (mainly UKF and then USF not much Soviet) i have far more trouble dealing with the OKW than with OST and since from what i understand in the next patch Axis is getting nerfed again the gap between the two will wide even more (at least OKW leig will finally get smoke).
By the way i'm not speaking for 1v1 but exclusively for team games, i think its undeniable that right now Ostheer is at best being carried and at worst being a burden for OKW, I even read some CoH2 veterans saying that in 2v2 is better to go double OKW rather than OKW and OST.
As it stands now outside 1v1 i see no reasons to play Ostheer what do you think? Is it really a subpar faction? Or is just more difficult to play effectively? It should be buffed or it deserves a nerf? Which are your opinions?
Ostheer is garbage right now. |
Why i need talk waht ostheer docs are fine, if i create thread about gev43 synergy ?
Tiger doc with opels, ostruppen.
I mean gev43 synergy in 1v1 adn 2v2 and same lethai like ele + scope in 2v2. Got AA HT to down planes, but before he down planes, lose 1-2 tanks. Gevers 43 blob > all anothers blob (exept brits 2 brens 5 models i guess). Light tanks and vehicles are useles vs them, coz stuart bad liek AI, t-70 come to late, USF AA HT just for defend, coz bad pathing, m20 dont work, coz 222. IN late game you just trade stugs in all another vehicles if needed.
Build more penals bro. They are the most op unit in the game and not just vs. infantry but if you (A) move 3 of them you can HARD counter a P4 in one volley. Enough said. L2P |
Just exit out of the game and re-open. It's a known bug. There is no fix for it currently. |
In any team format:
Worst than brace : Multiple OKW's flak trucks + a forward retreat truck camping a VP or the best fuel point.
When the map make it possible, it's a lot worst than brace. Dual OKW team are hard to beat when using it and playing well .(2vs2)
It permit to the Axis team to concentrate elsewhere, and to retreat to it in case of something happen.
Sure it can be beaten, but it's as fun as Brit's brace...
My 2 cents
Just attack their cutoff. If they invest manpower into protecting an area, punish them in other ways by cutting of resources to that point or concentrate on the other 2 vps until you can divide their forces and sneak a Crom and 17 pounder over to their Swhere and destroy it. |
top 32 in coh2 is like top milion in LoL

“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.” Quote from Bruce Lee
I wish some people could understand this applies to strategy as well. Basically pick and choose your battles, just because you think throwing more manpower at one point is a good idea, it can lose you the game. |
