I like the guide; the Battalion Command info was very helpful... it can be a hard decision with the medium armor.
The only issue with going airborne 1: no AT mines and 2: M1919 .30cal is limited only to Paratrooper squads.
I have recently gone to the infantry doctrine... 3 CPs for M1919s (same as paratroopers) and rifles and REs can equip M1919s. I've beat Obersoldaten with M1919s in equal cover (with vetted rifles, of course).
The cheap mines that the infantry doctrine provide are good when in clusters. It helps mid and late game against vehicle flanks; enough of them damage engines (not sure how many) and can save a very low health vehicle from being destroyed. Of course, the M20 utility car has a better mine ability for 60 mu, but that requires 70 fuel (50 for LT).
The best thing about airborne is the rocket strafe, however, a OKW flak truck in the middle of the map can easily shoot down the P47... Be careful.

I know it's a 4v4 game, but it was still amazing. The middle fuel was contested the whole match and was a slugfest. I held the mid VP with some good micro throughout the game. Late game there were lots of Tiger, Elefants, and Königstigers, but they were brought down by intelligent coordination!
The best part of the game... was that we had an AI after about ten minutes, yet still won

^^thanks. It's all stuff I know already, it's just hard to think and micro at the same time... I just played another game like the one above on Semoskiy Winter. It lasted an hour and four minutes. I got him down to 13 VPs. I couldn't deal with a double panther and he just spammed Falshirmjagers when his infantry died. I was fighting weapon teams and Falls, essentially.
Makes me kinda sad, you know? I went armor and... I had two M10s at one point. (yay). All the American armor dies due to the lack of protection and I'm not used to it. I miss Wehr's tanks.

A very nice game on La Gleize... I lost, unfortunately. Getting the mortar HT was a bad decision (I forgot I already had a major... could've waited for some medium armor). The deciding factor was tanks, because the Obersoldaten turn my "soldaten to meat". Perhaps getting two Jacksons instead of a Sherman and a Jackson would've been a better choice, but the Obersoldaten only die to vehicles. I had great map control in the early game, but couldn't pressure the enemies base when the flak truck came out.

Okay... this is kind of a ridiculous opening and my first encounter with it in my 27 games as USA. A double Kubelwagen +sturm pio opening... There are no easy counters to this, other than micro and banking on my enemy making a mistake. I managed to scavenge enough munitions to pressure him off with bazookas early game, but he used that to his advantage and went Luftwaffe with Fallschirmjagers. Maybe getting a lieutenant and T2 instead of T3 would've been better, but i was expecting more vehicles. I used the .50 cal paradrop which helped, but has its own drawbacks in the extra MP cost.

Anyway, this opening essentially forces the U.S. into surrendering or getting the bazooka tech, while limiting resource income as the kubelwagens contain the riflemen.
I think kubels should change; perhaps getting the ability to suppress at Vet 1, or making it a toggle-able ability at Vet 1 or initially, locking down the vehicle similar to the Marder III in PE and having a short cool down, adding to the risk of being flanked.
Idk, something... it's just honestly ridiculous right now.
