Issue is(as usual) with OKW and their immense firepower they are getting for MP only while ALL other armies simply need to pay munis or do not have such option at all.
Mortars may be better than both. But pack howitzers can squadwipe. Especially at vet 2 when its damage doubles. And people want howitzers buffed? Yeah lets go back to the whole wipe 8+ squads a match due to howitzer barrages. Fuck artillery its just a hand of God emplacement that deletes squads that you can do little about if you're not constantly shifting every squad you have that is within range every 20 seconds. Mortars are fine because their AOE is small enough to where it doesn't really cause 1 hit full health instawipes.
You should keep up with the patch notes and ninja changes.
It doesn't get anymore bonus damage at vet2, its now just 480mp inferior range mortar with long range, underwhelming and inaccurate 3 shot barrage.
ISG is vastly superior to it in all aspects again.
As long as it shoots normal bullets, Obers do not give a shit about it, or about any other small arms fire.
The HMG is fine with suppression and already does above average dps, its problem is fragility, rec acc debuff and axis long range firepower, which means 2 of pretty much any squads above volks can a-move it frontally as long as they are not on top of each other.
Stuka Close Air support seems to be using crits from alpha, which means it can injure pretty much all crew members, disable or slow temporarily engine, blind the tank ect.
That is, if tank will live long enough under SCAS fire.
How did this thread get so far,everyone knows Relic will not make any major changes such as removing, adding, or moving upgrades, abilities, units etc. They only ever modify unit stats.

Not everyone needs to have the same opinion and I don't need to enforce my opinions on others, but when someone goes around screaming that the sun is blue(or puma is up in this case) then yea, there will be no mercy.
Basically discussions always are somewhat reasonable before 4v4 a-move crowd jumps in with their completely skewed perception of balance.
I mean, how bad you have to be to not even realize that this armored car can effortlessly compete against stock mediums, I myself am far from perfect player, but calling perfectly fine units or overperforming ones as weak or not worth it just because you can't play properly with them and fail?
Sure its easier to shreckblob into obers and panthers, but it doesn't change the hard fact proven by players themselves that choices like puma, AA ht or JP4 are equally valid, effective, more interesting and can seal the game much faster then stall for panthers with shreckblob. You don't need to play with these other units, you don't need to like them, but complete denial of their usefulness and performance, calling them a waste of fuel is beyond being stupid/bad.
Whoever says that puma is bad or underpowered should go back to playing tutorial missions and likely stay there.
Bear in mind that OKW puma arrives at 5-7th minute and looking at ost mobile defence doctrine we can see its arrival is intended for about the same time as medium armor, which it counters with basic micro.
Its perfectly viable unit to supplement early AT, thou I can see how shreck blobbers avoid it-as I've said, it requires basic micro, a perk that a-movers of 4v4 do not have and not surprisingly, that is the crowd that defends shrecks on volks as long as whining about OP unit being UP.
