I have faced multiple high ranked and prestige and boy they play like complete idiots. I think you confused rank with prestige and level, the latter have nothing to do with skill. In: COH2 Gameplay

It suffers from some of the same issues as the .50 cal, but at least the 50 has a quick set up and tear down time. The awkward strength of the 34 is you can get a lot of them to cover each other. Its osttruppen of HMGs, extremely cheap and spammable, can afford losses. Not really sure what kind of performance you expect out of it. It does good for its extremely cheap price. In: COH2 Gameplay

T34s fall off after the first two or three unless you really break the axis there and then, but kats just get stronger and stronger. Your ally can do the call-ins for mobile armor, which kats complement nicely. 1v1 though, massing T34s with TH is perfectly fine, as long as you don't lose too many (more than 1) before the call-ins hit, I think. Also, if you aren't feeling pigeonholed with the other factions, maybe you just aren't playing at a level where going non-conformist strategies tends to mean losing unless you significantly outplay the enemy. You can go stugs or brummbars maybe against weaker opponents, but once your opponents start playing guard motor coordination or 3 rifle, LT, M20, flamers and sherman to their maximum potential, your alternate playstyle almost certainly will not cut it. Thats pretty much the conclusion I got after couple of TH doc games. At least the salvage ability is amazing in the doctrine. In: COH2 Gameplay

Something is wrong with this picture. At that ranks, for me the thing that matters and makes the difference is the skill, not the balance, not in this patch. I rarely lose to 'abuses', because I am able to counter them within the skill level I pay in. Obviously it also is important to note the severity of (im)balance. Old obers or KT for example, you could do nothing to that no matter how hard you've tried. But right now, where balance while not completely perfect, is definitely NOT a deciding or even major factor at all. So, the argument then becomes "oh but they are not as strong as... but people use this tactic... nobody uses (although they do)... I think the game should be..." Maybe try seeing the cool thing about special abilites unlocked as the game progresses and have more options of play. Which is a cool thing. No? I'm playing with most doctrines, even the ones considered utter trash as I like versatility and diversity. I'm being punished for playing with doctrines with no tanks as soviets and god forbids that opponent will go for tier/call-in that counters whole my tier of choice. I have a free playstyle choice as all 3 other armies, still need to follow basic, but mid and late game is incomparably more branched out when it comes to valid, working choices I can make. Sure, I can play tank hunters with T34s, but if my opponent will be able to contain me and survive 15 mins it will be like mining rocks with your nails when I'm forced to use just stock armor. Call-in meta is almost exclusively soviet problem as they are the only ones who rely 100% on the doctrine choice. Sure, stock tanks are being build. As OKW why should I do it when I have panther, Luchs, Obers in a single tier, why wouldn't I want that every game? As Ost, with CAS doctrine I can feely go T4, otherwise T3 supported by PaKs is still potent choice. As USF, except Scott being a wanabe arty the sherman and jackson perform really well and I don't always want easy 8 every game. With soviets if I'm not going for elite infantry and call-in armor or at the very least elite infantry I feel like I'm playing with one arm tight behind my back. That shouldn't be the case, I should feel rewarded with something if I go T3 or T4. What is the beneefit of T3? I pay 190 fuel to get a LIGHT TANK and once its dead I'll just focus on call-ins as T34s are ineffective and M5 is too squishy for a unit that arrives so late and needs to be relatively close to front line. T4 while bit better also falls short as while I will have good AT defense, I will have nothing to push axis defensive line as cons will get murdered. Again, call-in disease applies almost exclusively to soviets. I never feel handicapped when playing other army. And god I hope new army won't suffer same problems. In: COH2 Gameplay

Humans tend to blame subjects which they have no or minimal control over themt. Automatch, Lag, Skill, RNG, etc. Sadly. And these kind of players are the "forever noobs" type as blaming losses on everything but themselves basically mind blocks them from seeing its them who suck and actually improve. For me, the reasons of losing a game are: 1. 50% L2p 2. 10% teammate (if 1v1, add this to No.1) 3. 30% game balance (mostly maps) 4. 10% RNG Although after some losses I bitch and cry, but at the end it's mostly L2P specially for average players. Me recently playing randumbs, I'd say its 40% L2P 40% team mate 10% balance and 10% RNG. Balance would batter more for me if I played in "my rank is my phone number" league or top 10. In the first one, balance matters, because you can just spam most imbalanced unit and effortlessly win. In the latter, its the first+actual ability to exploit it to the fullest. On the ranks 200-600 there I play, its pretty much mainly skill issue with some bad RNG involved(120mm landing on my freshly LMG upgraded grens feels soo good derp). In: COH2 Gameplay

But seriously yes I have had this a few times and it does screw your tank up for the rest of the game regardless of repair, its just very very rare for it to happen. Cauterize the wound Also, the only thing that gives all these random temp and permanent crits is Stuka Close Air Support like it wasn't overpowered enough without it. In: COH2 Bugs
