Thank you for the trick Ami
Ami, do you know any kind of way to check out if my internet connection is having troubles with the battle servers? Because I had troubles connecting to the internet a week ago and I had that fixed recently. And now my internet speed/quality is just fine. But eversince, this problem which looks like a drophack started happening. But it doesnt happen with every game. I dont get disconnected while playing, I can do everything else on internet and I play several other games online too which I never experienced this problem with.
Any chance you can help me?
Inverse has some good posts about the battleservers and how unlikely it is that you got "drophacked".
In short, the only way another player could negatively influence your game would be to initiate a ddos attack on one of the nodes on the path connecting you to the battleservers.
The more likely explanation is that with battleservers being in New York and you in Turkey, there is a lot of distance to cover and along the way one of the nodes may have timed out.
There isn't really anything you can do except pray that Relic adds a European server eventually. |
Why do some players commit suicide not going T3?
Because very often (too often?), it actually works. It's a high risk, high reward gamble.
Not sure if this is a pride post along the lines of "I can beat the current meta", or if you can actually back up your claims.
If anything, the general consensus seems to be that skipping T3/T4 is too rewarding. I don't have the data to prove it, but from experience it certainly feels that way. |
They used to be the ideal counter for support unit spam on maps like semoisky, but now there is almost nothing that can clear out a massive build up of maxims, mortars, and atgs, short of a kv8. The rof and scatter nerfs were a little to much imo.
Were there scatter nerfs? I thought it was just ROF. |
This thread is quite impressive. Speaking from a 2v2 perspective, The Kat was and is good. The Werfer was game-breakingly OP and now is good.
Tell me this, If an opponent has a panzerwerfer and fires it with a shift command to reposition it back to his base after each barrage ... how do you kill it?
Yes, I think this is the problem: the disconnect between team games and 1v1.
The increased recharge timer offsets higher than desired artillery saturation.
I feel like this is one of the rare changes mostly directed towards team games because artillery saturation was never a problem in 1v1. If they're starting to look at the team game dynamic, I really wish they would tweak the resource income before playing around with unit balance. |
you should learn reading dudes
im not trolling nor im saying its op or broken
i just said it a bit inconsistent.
ofc if the barrage would be linked to vet1 the whole weapon needs to be rebalanced
thats not the point
the thread was also not to whine or refered to the balance (otherwhise i whould have started it in the balance section)
i just wanted to see if other ppl also think the ability is compared to the other units inconsistent
nothing more nothing less
but its nice to see that ppl instant start with noob phrases :/
Yes, these units' abilities are inconsistent with the general rule of get vet, then get an ability.
1. It's not a very strong rule (other units have abilities without vet.: cons, grens, engies, T70, etc.) so is it really a problem?
2. Shifting the ability to vet1 could work. Some re-balancing would be necessary.
3. When you encounter ad hominem, it's best to report it instead of contributing to it. It makes for a better environment for all.

Same. Limiting options is just bad design.
1. If it's too easy to get heavy call-ins then hurdles can be added (tier requirements).
2. Since some heavies are basically better versions of non-doctrinal units, there is also a need to make doctrinal units more unique. (eg. A tiger is basically a better P4. There is nothing a P4 can do that a Tiger can't and that should change because it reduces options by design)
3. If we accept that there's a place for Tiger/IS2 spam, then there should also be a valid counter for that composition. Currently, getting 2-3 Tigers or IS2s invalidates their natural counters (AT guns), and that's just not right. The game should not be about reaching that 3x heavy tank composition in order to win, because once again if such compositions have no effective counters they effectively reduce strategic options. |
Lol i'm a physicist and i can tell you a lot of things that are written in wikipedia are false, are other stuff just because everybody can edit. Even teachers disagree on wikipedia as a font of knowledge. Following your statement, who needs university, teachers, books with wikipedia? Lol seem society of information is the big lie for big ignorants.
Oh I'm with you buddy. A physicist! Well guys, now I'm fully confident that this guy knows his history.
And we all know wikipedia is a bunch of crap, I mean, look at all those professionals he names that disagree with what's on there. If they can find stuff that's wrong then how can we possibly trust the rest?
Sure, they could correct the errors they find an provide the relevant articles/evidence for their cause but then the armies of fascist bots would just erase everything they don't agree with.
Edit: More appropriate link, without https. |
Seriously, when you want to do an accurate research you do it in wikipedia?
If you want links i have to.

Btw, the argue was not about that. And you say fascism=comunism by the number of deaths? Then look to the USA is fascism also -wich is not, is capitalism-. Your studies of political theory are 0.
Seriously, this! Are you telling me you would trust a crowd-built, globally-funded website requiring an abundance supporting references and corroborating evidence to establish legitimacy when you can do a bit of research instead? Please, read some books!
If you had done your research, like Phy here, you would know that the Communist Party Marxist-Leninist Revolutionaries of Sweden, provided in the link above, completely invalidates the fascist myths of Wikipedia. |
It's called Swiss cheese design. |
Snipers are probably the most micro and attention intensive unit in CoH2, so I can see how there would be an imbalance between snipers at some levels of play.
There might be something worth considering for Relic there, but I honestly don't know how you can balance snipers across all skill levels. |
