It's fine. This is one of the stronger soviet doctrines, it does not need to be changed. It's not any different than the ostheer doctrines that come with the halftrack full of infantry, but this halftrack is much more useful.
This. I don't know what is the problem of having a good unit like M5.
Put in base.
If you put them out of base, they are expose to enemy's fire.
Over 300 ammo should kill any builing.
What about MHT incendiary barrage killing Brits emplacements?
What about MHT incendiary barrage killing Brits FRP?
- Put them in your base, no field reinforcement and healing for OKW
- Nerf the price maybe? so by this logic a 290 Fuel Jagd should shoot through buildings with 120 range.
-What does MHT has to do anything with this. Brace is broken, fire damage is bullshit, DoT is problematic.

Those are my humble opinions as an average player, might be right might be wrong.
Well written post... after 2 months. I found many of your point right on the spot. The game is at a very fucked up state if you ask me, even with the hotfix. The amount of cheese is just too damn high and it stinks (no pun intended). Also the blobbing is back.
One more thing:
PS: I think a lot of people voted "No" because you've offended their beloved faction with one or two balance issues.
Brace is a bit tricky. It's shitty now, but generally, it reduces the incoming damage by 90 (or 80?) percent which is a lot. You first have to make them brace the structure, wait for it to go on CD, then you will have 45 seconds (not sure) to use Sturmtiger -or any other explosive nuke) to finish it off.
ML-20 is at a good spot right now. The only change for all heavy arty pieces is to remove the ability which allows them to fire on the base sector. Other than that, they're fine.
No doubt these guys have top-drawer skills, but many of them are 1v1 players most of all.
They did not really use the gearing that is usually the deciding factor in 4v4 games past the ~15 minute mark. They mostly played 4 1v1 games with lots of infantry skirmishes all the way.
The destructive power of the gearing on the axis side is unmatched. Brits might change that eventually, but I haven't seen that happen yet.
What ever it is, it can go toe to toe with any medium (Hi PzIV). Even with lower damage, it has huge HP advantage. Main gun should be disabled while using the Flamer, just like KV8. KV8's main gun is shit and it is disabled while you use flamer. Why?
