I am finding OKW Forward Retreat Point to be really good with how the MGs were buffed. Ost bunkers have a lot less health, but an OKW/OST team is nigh-unbeatable especially on big maps with a harder to kill Heal truck sitting a little beyond the mid-point. Forward Retreat Point has always been a touchy issue(that half the factions have it and the other half don't), but with the buffed MGs it takes a lot to break through Axis defensive lines. The problem comes when Axis players can reset their defense line faster than the Allied players can bring units up to throw against it on large maps. I don't know if taking away the Forward Retreat Point ability would be too detrimental to OKW and USF or if adding it to OST and SOV would be too OP.
Well if your double soviet you can punish it BADLY with artillery and if you have a USF or double USF you can just return the favor with constant careless rifle smoke assaults with major retreat point.

remove the 2 things which are the most annoying: snipers and buildings
soo...All buildings spawn destroyed or on fire.
-give wehr sniper a 360 intervention sniper rifle with steady aim perk
-remove obers from the game cause the ss most propably had connections with loominarty
-add rust map
-add flash grenades since stun and smoke nades are already ingame
-replace infrared sight from ober stgs with red dot sight
-add a ac-130 skillplane to murricans and pave low to soviets
-replace white phosphorus with mountain dew
-replace incendiary strike with dorito airdrop
-give soviet sniper a quickscope ability to instantly #rek a squad or two
-give pathfinders a noscope ability so they can instantly kill enemies at point blank range
-give jaeger light infantry the stopping power perk
-add opfor as a faction
-give airborne an akimbo g18 upgrade
-replace victory points with alpha, bravo and charlie
-remove noobtubes and add barrett 50 cal sniper rifle to grens, rifles and rear echelons so they can stop being noobs and learn how to quickscope properly
-break the contract with esl and make a new one with mlg

I just played a game where a USF riflemenz threw a nade directly on to my sniper(I didn't move him at all)and he did not die. Slither of health remained.
And earlier today I played a game where an enemy ostheer sniper got away with that extra .2 of hit points 3 times.
Needless to say I lost. Ostheer sniper needs not to go back to the days where you could just click on his unit icon with any unit and he would just die, but the extra 2 hit points is making him survive things he should not logically survive. |

Compared to other light tanks? Yes it's armour is good for a light vehicle, it has a good chance of taking on an Ostwind partially thanks to it. You can't really say the same for a T-70.
Please show us a video of you or anyone killing an ostwind with a stuart outside of rank 20,000k. Theres NEVER an ostwind by itself,a stuart does NOT have the hitpoints or armor to kill an ostwind unless the ostheer player is braindead.
That's enough to bounce P4 and Puma shots, yes I would say the stock sherman has good armour. The E8 eats P4's for breakfast thanks to the extra armour and pen it has.
Wow,bouncing a puma. Such a legendary feat. literally everything can bounce or has a low enough profile combined with puma shit moving accuracy to avoid damage from it.
and WOW,bouncing a panzer IV,its natural equal. EXCEPT the panzer IV doesnt have to deal with shreks,pak40s,ETCETERA,when chasing down and raping shermans.
Unfortunately the game does not really play out stock, if there was a world where Rifle/Infantry company did not exist this argument might be valid. USF lategame is extremely strong thanks to Sherman/1919/flamer spam and other doctrinal ability's.
Ostheer late game> anything usf can build late game,fact of life. Only time thats not the case is if ostheer was getting rekt early game,and those days,are over.
But a 40/50 cost for an ability that can allow you a get out of jail free card is hardly that punishing on "USF lategame"
What is USF getting out of jail from? If you're snared in combat you have a good chance of losing the tank,even with superglue,because usf tanks are paper and die in 4 hits.,and if they hit a teller and nothing follows up or is aiming in the direction of the teller then thats the axis players fault for having a lone mine sitting in the middle of nowhere.

I don't need to prove anything here, I've made posts favouring soviets/USF if you take a single look down my post history. Or alternatively just take one look at my playercard.
I simply looked down the coh2 balance forum for a little bit and i saw at least 4 "nerf USF" threads from you. I cant take your opinion of their "Overpowered" units seriously,you barely even play them. You have no real idea how frustrating it is to watch your tanks evaporate to just about everything. Literally just a-move two paks and kill usf tanks. Repair critical has never been the difference in my losing or winning a game,from axis or allied POV.
Meanwhile,OKW tanks have high front armor counts and blitz,
Ostheer tanks,same story,but with smoke
And soviets have heavy tanks of multiple varieties. That can take hits and really dish out pain.
and soviet 85 has more HP,can self repair itself or be repaired by numerous conscripts,AND comes in a much better doctrine.
What does usf have?

USF tanks (Stuart, Sherman, E-8, bulldozer) have pretty good armour, it's only the TD's that lack survivability. And even then you can launch smoke from a nearby sherman/rifle to cover their retreat.
I would say American vehicles have the best survivability in the game, keeping USF vehicles alive is easy mode. I mean how often can you say you've had a vet 3 scout car or kubel reach the end of the game like an m20 can?
Im just going to ignore that and pretend I didnt see it.
I'm just pointing out unbalanced aspects when I see them, and it just so coincides USF still have many gimmicks that are either OP (Defensive stance, skill planes) or under priced abilities (Crit repair, demo charges) where as OKW have had most of their OP gimmicks nerfed into the ground since WFA release.
So make an OKW buff thread. |
