Profile of Mortar

I know I'm gonna come off sounding like a noob, but many players struggle when the A.I. takes over when (several)someone(s) drops.

For good players, I know this is probably a joke...but automatch is designed to match players up with someone who's skills are approximately the same. For newer or less advanced players, the A.I. is almost always better than the players they take over for. In other words, for the one's left facing the A.I. its virtually game over. This is a crappy game mechanic for that part of the player base that needs to the most nurture. If this is not fixed, they will become quickly frustrated and stop playing.

Please...LTP doesn't always help. There needs to be a mechanic that replaces players with A.I. players of approximately the same skill level as the players who drop. At least IMHO.

Agreed with everything Maj says here. A couple of things to add...

1. Soviets also have incredibly strong Artillery with Katyushas and their Zis-3 76mm AT guns can also bombard like a Mortar. In addition, Doctrinal abilities like Heavy Mortars and on map like the B4 200mm and ML 120 152mm Howitzers.

2. Almost all units in every faction gain abilities as they vet up.

For example...the OKW Puma gets the ability to use a "Turret Lock" aiming ability at Vet 1. When used, it strikes the enemy tank and "Locks" its turret up. This gives you even more incentive to keep units alive...they are not only better at what they do, they also get abilities a just produced unit doesn't have.

3. Commanders. In the old CoH, there were only 3 per faction. In CoH2, there are as many as 20 Commanders per faction with more being added all the time.

I have decided Coh2 is now better than the original. I did not think this when the game first came out. It is TOTALLY different and what it should have been on launch. If my recommendation means anything and you liked the original Coh, I suggest giving it a whirl.

Not a pro game. Just a fun one to watch. Lots of carnage and tank battles. Enjoy!

Before I call it crap, I'm going to at least WATCH the movie instead of just bashing it as "pro american bull....". Its funny, people who already hate this show probably loved "End of Watch" and "Training Day".

Well, the writer of "Training Day" and the director of "End of Watch" are the writer and director of this film. But I understand most of the bashing comes from a feeling of not seeing the war shown from other viewpoints. Its understandable but not the fault of the people making THIS film. They are making a primarily american film that will be shown primarily to american audiences so it can make MONEY.

If there is anyone to be angry at, be angry that the film industry in Italy, France, Britain, Poland, Russia, etc, etc doesn't make these films you want to see.

Anyways....if when the film comes out it is crap, then I'll be the first to say so. Until then....

hummmm ... I own a house ... 2 vehicles ... have a wife and 3 boys.
I take 20mg of Lipitor every night since turn 43 and yet I still fondly remember the days of playing Duck Shoot on my Vic 20.
I may have to check out this Stomach Battalion you speak of.

Let us know. We have may Stomach issues, but our lawns are immaculate.
