I find the north spawn vs Americans on Angoville is really hard, I've tried VVSMG/VVMGS too weak for field presence, V MG V MG which is really hard to get munis for mine spam and is to easily flanked. The other things i've tried are right side FHQ in mid house north side ( which didn't fair to well vs noggano) since theres resources to far away. Lastly Kodachrome style 3 pio Sniper start which oddly enough worked as long as he didnt go jeep first.
I used to play World of tanks, then dropped it as it is a Pay to win game. however I still play Dota 2. Both are free to play games,both have childish communities filled with trolls and insults but none of them are really serious.
Free to play communities are annoying, I know, but not revolting, never met a genuine neo-nazi or fascist there.
CoH franchise appeals to closeted neo-nazis, it gives them the opportunity to play as the german forces are realize their Third Reich fantasies. But by all means this does not mean that anyone who plays as ostheer is a neo-nazi, I play both factions myself. The Neo-nazi are a minority.
I remember reading a post reply by Noun in the official relic forums about the absence of chat lobby in CoH2. The decision was based on complaints by the German government, as some german chat channels were filled by Neo-Nazis wanting to clean germany from sub-human immigrants.
You can see the difference between a stupid dota 2 troll that spouts insults while feeding couriers to the other team and a brainwashed neo-nazi consumed by hate and ignorance. One is annoying yet harmless the other is a dangerous threat. That is what I mean by the community being the worst I've met in gaming.
Lastly, I think that the majority of CoH players are european. Most european countries have a legislation on nazism and hate speech and it is not tolerated to use SS tags or Nazi heraldry. There is however no legislation on stalinism or soviet purges. Simply put their is an undisputed consensus on the condemnation (legal & moral) on the Nazi holocaust, but not on the Stalinist purges as the latter did not affect western europe. Using Guard tag is not offensive, it can refer to anything from security guard to red army guard and anything in between.
However using an SS tag, the Death Head SS emblem, and so on is illegal and offensive in many countries.
Your comment about how we should pay for added stuff in the game is arrogant. Relic should have already implemented things like tank traps already into the game not these micro transactions that you say cover 'costs of the DLC' to be added. So when we played our $60-100 in the game Affe is right, we should be bitching just to have an ability for $2.29 or whatever is bullshit. I haven't purchased a DLC yet. I pre-ordered the game (not CE) and the game is boring! I have to pay for things to be added for the sake of 'something new?'

Hey, been looking around to see where to ask for or request some new options in gameplay, have been directed to post it here.... so forgive me if it is wrong!
Option 1:
I would like to pose the question, why in COH2 can there not be the options for the German campaign to succeed in overrunning Moscow, Stalingrad Etc., and to run further with how the war in the east could then end, and then the obvious option for an alternative campaign battle in the west, making use of the freed up units returning from the east.
Option 2:
There has never been an campaign or option for the hypothetical invasion of Britain and then maybe a continuation onto Canada & the US. This would provide for some seriously interesting campaigning especially with the option to invade Canada & The US only available after succeeding in completing the domination of Britain. A lot of the new German weapons that were on the brink of being released would also be an option to make available.
I am sure these options would prove to be extremely popular.

Tank traps are doctrinal for obvious reasons. You can block off entire towns with them, which slows the game down. With CoH2's gameplay there's no real reason to have them either.
The reason that no new undoctrinal units are added is because it costs money, and they have to find a way to cover those costs, which is putting it in a commander. Why is it even terrible that there no new undoctrinal units? I don't see how it is terrible. And why is having too many commanders bad? I just do not get this mentality.
