About the discussion you are having if it is ok to bring new armies to the game and about the balance. I really don't care that much because i don't play the game to be the best, i play it because i want to have fun so the new WA DLC is very welcome. Don't get me wrong, i want balance too because if you don't have balance you cant have fun also. So i leave this aside for a bit and get hyped about the new stuff. I love the US from vCOH, why not have them in COH2 :-)
Balance will come one day, but it will come sooner if we all give Relic constructive feedback and not be raging and stuff. I know, it's hard (for me too sometimes) but it only makes things worse than better.

You know what's even worse then having a 10-fuel scout car get blown up by a soviet mine?
I'll tell you! It's finally having enough fuel to get out a T70 and having it get 1-shot to death by a teller mine. A mine that was laying there for a long time, because it only triggers on vehicles.
For the record: I think both mines are fine. Do soviet mines still 1-shot squads? I haven't had any post patch, but that could have just been luck. If they do, that still needs to be looked at. Other than that they are fine. The soviet mines are anti-tank mines, they should destroy a car when it drives over them.

I also like the patch from 2 days ago but i have to say this. It needs more fixes then just the anounced ones. Everybody is saying that the soviets need to adapt. The problem is that the soviets where designed to play like they did and now the say that they have to adapt. But can this be done? It is like you say to FC Barcelona to play defencive (but the players are all attacking type). And also, if the patch changes are very big, why only (or most of) the soviets have to adapt? The germans don't have to or just very little.
So i thing the (most) complaints are justifed. It is not a lie to say that after the patch 99% of germans players where happy. Not because they are all pro players that wanted less RNG...
Again, i am not saying that the should get back, but please... all German players be more understanding to your opponets. I know, they are also crying (to much sometimes) but they have a point (at least this time).
Off topic: What happend to ANDYSRIPPING? He has disappeared after the big loss against Barton? Anyone knows? I think its a shame if he gave up on the game because of this (was his fault anyways :-)). |
