Thread: Rifle Nades12 Jun 2013, 19:58 PM The molotov forces you to move and denies you cover. When you move you deal less damage, or no damage at all if you move backwards. Also, I've seen it do some instant damage, sometimes even killing 2 guys in a squad. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Rifle Nades12 Jun 2013, 19:52 PM Yeah I've dodged a lot of them as well, it's really easy to just move your unit when they shout "GRENADE!" or you see a gren sit down with his rifle. But sometimes they also yell "GRENADE!" when it's their own molotov, lol In: COH2 Balance

Thread: SdKfz 222 Scout Car12 Jun 2013, 15:00 PM So open beta arrived and nothing happened with this unit. It's still only useful as a soft M3/M5 counter and worse than a bike versus infantry. No other unit in the game has as shallow a role as this. I just had it try to protect a fuel point, but soviet engineers just walked in, capped the point, and walked away with 2 casualties while the 221 (unupgraded) was now near-dead. They were not even in cover. Please make it more like in the alpha! In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Molotovs12 Jun 2013, 14:51 PM A soviet player will usually always have at least 3 conscript squads if not 4 asap. Molotovs is a cheap upgrade that is a no-brainer to get. Infantry does not shoot when soft-retreating. Toss a molotov and burn the poor grens, or shoot them in the back when they try to get away from it and does not shoot back. Instant engagement win. Trying to protect your grens or mg in a building? Sorry, molotov. Conscript in a building? Erh... lost engagement. Yes, I feel I don't have a fighting chance as german at the moment, even when it's all I played in the earlier patches. Something happened. In: COH2 Balance

It can miss, M3 needs more than 2 fausts, it's slow to fire, and no other soviet vehicle than M3 is somewhat scared of it. A vehicle in vCoH could still be finished by fausts and M8 was always scared of getting too close to volksgrenadiers. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: German grenades cost munitions when canceled12 Jun 2013, 14:36 PM This is SO annoying, to the point that I don't want to play germans anymore. I think I cancel more than half my grenades to adjust their target or just not throw it, but I can't cause it's on cooldown and I lost the munitions. I think this is one reason why the germans are always so crazy starved on munitions. In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Please help, how can I counter this?11 Jun 2013, 23:14 PM I lose to this guy every time I get him in automatch. He does the same strat every time, early-game conscript flanks with flamer-engies, shock troops asap, M5 with flamers in it and finished with multiple T-34s. I feel that all my infantry is obsolete by the time he gets 1 CP, and I have no fuel to get something out that can threaten him. I think this is the best I've done against him, but I still lost.
