Thread: 500 deaths20 Jun 2013, 16:12 PM Moscow is such a huge map, so I tried plexys 5 conscript start. He does it better than me. A very long battle with stolen weapons and AT-guns littered across the center. SU-85s does a nice job, but the second Elefant is too much and I really needed Shock Troops to handle the late game German infantry. A true meatgrinder, I lost more than 300 soldiers..! In: Replays

Thread: 2x T-34/85 vs Tiger20 Jun 2013, 14:39 PM I decided that I'm going to learn to use the M3, so I can see what other people do against it. Featuring M3+flamer protected by M3+guards which kill the german scout car and flamer halftrack. M3+flamer facerolling all deployed MG42s. 120mm Mortar bombarding the german forward reinforce+medic bunkers. Ends with 2 T-34/85s that finishes an Ostwind and rams a Tiger. I guess if you made the units in the M3 extra extra easy to kill it'd be OK, but right now it feels really broken. According to current CoH2 stats, M3 costs 80 manpower 20 fuel? The german scout car is 80 manpower 25 fuel 60 munitions and feels like a Jeep vs anything else than light vehicles that can't shoot back. The most obvious fix would be to remove the garrison ability and leave that role to the currently underused M5. In: Replays

And a lucky soviet mine in a choke can still one-shot multiple full-health german squads. What about the german anti-inf mine-field for 80 muni? Oh, you have to hope they continue to walk into multiple mines. But that's actually how mines are supposed to work, stop the flank or attack, not destroy it entirely. In: COH2 Balance

Also it still can reinforce troops even with flamer upgrade Yes, and the M5 is even worse because you can load it up with 2 flamer engineers, or any combination of engineer, sniper, guards, shock troops, whatever, kill everything, then back out, unload engineers and repair + reinforce. All this vehicle flame damage is just too much, on both soviet and german sides. In: Replays
