Again, examine the way Paul utilizes his army, and the differences in strategy, therefore tactical approach he implements. Observe the subtle differences (hint: he rarely pushes across even the river, he is playing deeeeeeeeep) this is for a reason, ask why this is the case, and if he was a different faction against a different faction what different decisions would he make?
The way I play brits:
1. you have to admit brits have the weakest game start faction. you have nothing but TOMMY.
so you have to play silly and wait for OP units(just accept that)
2. rarely pushes across the river means you never get red cover and hit badly. Many people think that Hey we need to push. let them no map contorl, this is wrong. more pushing may cost manpower bleed for brit. so early defend is a must.
And in COH2 your manpower income is fixed, you can not increase it like startcraft 2. so every player have the same income same army size in the first mins of the game. I rather not risk my man for lose.
Also, trenchs are so op, it should cost 75MP or more, 50 mp is too cheap to jump in there kill some units and force them retreat . build 3-4 trenchs on the mpa. you will have mass map control.
3.In my point of view, getting more fuel will not cost the game. getting your self kill does. many player always going one by one to get the point. this is bad. remember this is war. always think this way : make your enemy pay for what they want.
4.I like brits faction. it have all player who wanted:
I. LMG unit(TOMMY 2 LMG ENG 3 LMG, fast repair best coh2 eng)
II. SNIPER & the best HMG in coh2
III. AT GUN work better like PAK40 (15% more accurate)
IV. non commander heavy tank
V. retreat point build for late game and do not cost POP CAP
PS: USF is crying ambulance pop 4 major pop 5
5. Bad side of brits:
I. no anti tank nade (keep your sniper and AT gun save)
II. too much to reinforce (use trench and counter snipe)
III. no light tank that can deal with inf
remember these point and you will become like me. hope you like my opinion.
