However, I humbly suggest that if you're not going to participate in an on topic discussion, but you're simply going to trivialize someone else based on your own bias of that individual, that you keep your opinion to yourself. Well I like to alert the general majority of people reading this thread to understand who stands for what. And I get annoyed sometimes when people don't understand Dane's real opinion on the game is around bias. So I think it's important to voice on who/or what we're discussing and whether or not it's important to discuss such a thing. In: COH2 Balance

I find the fact he calls himself the minister of propaganda oddly honest. Its great that you enjoy his casts, I do too. I agree with you that it is difficult to to have a fruitful discussion when a party is unaware of their bias, purposely drives their position to the extreme end of things or they only have not explored the other side of the debate. I also find it frustrating, it clouds the truth of issues in a thick fog. You are right there are several that haunt this forum. However, you have not laid down anything other than a cheap jab. Based on your post, I don't sense an open mind nor do I see an intelligent post countering Danes point of view. If you'd be glad to lay out an opposing statement than do it! Don't make excuses or ask another forum member to do the leg work for you. I'd love to read some of your insight. I don't mind opinions as long as they're somewhat rational/reasonable with a hint of being subjective(and those opinions are by someone who plays the game well/understands it). But the things I have seen Dane endorse/write on certain topics regarding balance have made me lose faith in his opinion completely. He is a swell caster, but balance is not his department of strengths. So, that is why I said what I said, and providing statistics/points countering his own in that video would feel like a waste of time to me considering it is someone who is most likely biased.(However if you really want me too, I shall write up a 1 page report on how wrong Dane is) In: COH2 Balance

Neither of you have (as far as we know) are professionals in the gaming industry. Other than your self proclamations, how is his opinion less valuable/more " wrong/more correct" than your opinion? If you disagree with him, how about laying down some counter points, back it with game clips and stats? Show us why he's misguided and drawn false conclusions. IMHO its extremely immature, to use a low effort, backhanded video clip to attempt to increase your own credibility, by stepping on Dane. I have nothing against Dane, in fact I enjoy watching Dane's casts. However, his opinion on balance after reading several of his statements/opinions gave off to me a huge case of the fanboi. Not to say he is exactly(even though he's admitted to being one several times while streaming). I'd be glad to lay down several facts and statistics proving him wrong since you requested it, but I have, as I always do in the past respond with facts,an objective opinion, and an open mind on certain balance qwerks. Though I do get annoyed when the obvious(and yes there are still a couple on this very forum) fanboi comes down and completely derails the thread with super radical or completely biased statements that make me want to cringe every time I hear or read them. Conclusion: - people dislike easy-play / easy-win factions. This is the reason for which before the add-on most people were playing OH, while the differences between vanilla factions were not as high as the differences between OKW and the other factions. People like challanges, not trololols. Make playing russians and USF as challanging as OKW and we will see the opposite. So when someone thinks that most people will chose easy to play factions, he's mistaking. Of course there are people that prefer the easy way or experience a need "to kill da nazi" and they play exclusively allied, but an objective player will be more attracted by the faction that challanges him the most. I had to read that twice to fully comprehend it. Let me be real: -The Jackson is great as a support tank, ya don't use it as an assault tank, but a support tank, because of it's slow rotation, awful targeting priority and slow reload. It's redeeming quality is it's high velocity AP rounds. It guarantees if say you're sending in Shermans first to deal with the inf/tank that if the tank tries to flank around your shermans or back up slowly the Jackson will be able to hit it from a considerable distance. -Also most people would say the Allies are hardest atm in 2v2 or above considering dbl OKW is very powerful with it's late game capabilities and an ostheer/OKW pair-up actually assists in giving the OKW more fuel with fuel cache spam, so really it's the exact opposite of what you think SSHeini.
