particularly among the vanilla factions that they were starved for time with.
If I remember correctly, they overhauled the vet abilities sometime in beta since a lot of them were just "Shoot things better for 10 seconds" type stuff.
4.Those two nades share the same cooldown timer, so you can't toss them around in every battle. But I honestly would like to see the flame nade on the Sturmpio.
imo, the big problem with volk nade is that is has the same short throw animation as the incendiary nade. Quite a bit faster than every other grenade.
Do you always go Royal Enginerr when playing emplcement heavey? Or are other commanders complementing this strategy as well?
Commandos are a good choice with this playstyle imo. Smoke raid operation is ideal for maintaining map control, since you'll have much less units building multiple emplacements.
Commandos themselves also complement it.
Special weapons regiment is also good. A couple squads of tommies in the halftrack can be a brutal defense force, and tank hunters synergize extremely well with the 17 lber since they detect vehicles on the mini map.
Being able to skip weapon racks is also nice, since you can drop vickers lmg's from the halftrack.
I've found this sort of strategy works really well, since the 17lber 2 shots medium tanks (and has surprising range, which catches players off guard. ) It can lock down half the map sometimes, and when backed up by vickers/bofors it's really hard to kill.
The 'L2P' is an extremely condescending statement that serves little purpose beyond insulting other players and there is already more than enough of that going around in the game.
No, people just choose to take it that way.
Originally L2P was an attitude revolving about analyzing your play with friends and figuring out how you could improve. And as a way to offer suggestions for said improvement, new ideas and get players in a creative mindset to come up with new strategies rather than being a slave to the metagame.
There's a huge fuckton of players in this game who blame the game rather than analyze their own play. L2P is a reminder that they need to try things rather than bitch and moan.
But people take it as a personal insult or whatever nowadays. It offends their precious ego. Every single player should "L2P". The best attitude to have in any game is "How could I have done this better? What could I do better in the future? What might have helped me beat this strategy?" rather than "WAAH RERIC ALLIES OP AXIS OP FUCK OFF FANBOIS" that seems prevalent in this forum.
off map arty that are tied to specific doctrines. A faction can't be that overly reliant on the doctrine they pick to get access to such an important part of any army.
it get boring playing specific doctrine time after time just to get decent artillery.
No, pretty much every doctrine has good arty, The one that doesn't is also the one that makes emplacements godlike.
