yeah totally agree apart from a couple of points.
1.the fact that USF is a 20 min win or you lose is so shit, and personally think that this has to fixed. current meta as Ost and okW seems to a camp fest and just wait for the late game where usf will get rolled.
2. usf arty is SHIT, pack howi, gun carriage howi, mortar ht all under perform and call in art are expensive as hell.

How to fight early Vet 3 units: As Soviets, get snipers, maxims, mines, mortars, Molotov’s, flame throwers... . Just dont get mass inf.
As Americans it is a bit harder, dig in and try to hold at least 1/3 of the map and one fuel point. Then rush to the Lieutenant, because the HMG, the M20 and the AAHT dont care much about Vet and it is hard for the german player to get a Pak and 4 Vet3 units to counter it, because that costs him around about 150 fuel.
If a axis player has full pop cap (with the Ace) he gets only 75 MP per minute. If the axis player only has the ace he gets 186 MP per second. That means if you can play around the ace and kill his other stuff (that is hard to replace because of the low MP income), the Ace will end without support and is easy to beat. Just dont bash your head against a supported Ace.
Here's the thing most people usually get the elite troops doc for stun nades, g43, and tiger ace. So don't expect him to spam elite troops. |
Yep it a should go back to the old system where it would stop all income. I'm sorry honey but that won't happen honey because Tiger Ace is not as durable as the prepatch Tiger Ace and doesn't have insane damage like it used to. Tiger Ace is just a vet 3 tiger with TWP. |

The strategy frankly is simple. Build conscripts til you can't build conscripts no more, then build more when you can. Radio intercept tells you when all their units come out and if you should get molotov (against medic truck) or AT nade (against mech truck). You may need to pop T2 for the ZiS but otherwise, simple spam conscripts (and maybe a flamer engie or 2 to throw down mines against vehicles) until t38-85s, then spam T34s and conscripts.

Pls l2p instead of posting constantly how USF is UP, how they need this and that and so on. I remeber how you complained on stream how Ez8s are bad against Tigers until CieZ proved you with stats they are better AT than t34/85s...

In this game itisn't, it's placed on the surface. The Ostheer AI mines have signposts, I think Demo should be equally visible too. Anyway, the point isn't about asthaetics or reality, it's about an invisible bomb that can wipes several squads. it's imbalanced.
I'm not against demo as a concept, I'm not even against only the allies having it (excluding OKW booby traps), I'm against it being possible to place it anywhere you like and get easy 2-click squad wipes.
Frikadelle - I agree that good decisions like positioning should be rewarded, but isn't the reward for a simple demo placement too high? If OKW or Ostheer players were doing this to you all the time, would you still feel it is ok?
Minesweepers can detect demos if nearby and then you can shoot at it with an mg or grenade it. I think mgs can blow up demos because since it has some penetration but I'm not sure though. |
While I don't mind only the allies having it, I think the ability to lay them anywhere and everywhere should be reconsidered. Perhaps onlyon structures of some kind?
It's a pretty esy way to get squad wipes :/ Perhaps if they weren't invisible? I understand mines being invisible, they're underground. But demo is on the surface. Ostheer AI mines have signposts, could a little black box be added to demo?
And Katitof, there's that snide and snarky tone again. Why not just say "balance is assymetrical, some armies have units/abilities which others do not"? Why can't you just speak civilly to people here? Why are you so angered by every post you see that you have to reply in such a way? The guy asked a fair question, give a decent answer eh?

What I'm talking about is when a tank for example misses its target over, and over, and over, and over again because there is a height difference and it shoots in to the ground. The left hill on Semoisky is one of the worst places for this. Colliding with objects is fine (like hitting a stone wall) because it rewards placing tanks hull down behind objects. But watching a tank in the open go full retard because it doesn't know how to adjust the elevation of the gun is game breaking.
