OKW shouldn't even get 5 level of veterancy, their resources income are no longer crippled. Okw late game doesn't need to be any more powerful.
Do you see fuel or muni op's? Also note that okw units are a lot more costly fuel wise? But i do agree on the vet 5 thing, should be removed and compensated with some other buffs.
You are correct. I just think it's easier to separate the scenes to make it easier to identify. That's all.
On the video itself. IS performs really well in cover. Isn't that supposed to be the faction's strongpoint? IS was average when it was out of cover and got killed, right?
Remember that i was not claiming that tommies don't need any changes with that video, or vet 5 does not need to be changed. The point was to disprove op's point on saying that ukf can't fight back.
with OKW as highest win rate in 1v1 after vet hotfix? I don't think so. OST and SOV need to be looked after first.

And for the op, obers don't need any changes expect remove the vet 4 suppresion for now. Its way too early to start saying that some certain unit is in need of buff's or nerfs.
I still think the OP has a valid point. Your tests showed the out of cover difference in effectiveness to be murderous and mere parity in heavy cover ( Bren dependant).
Given that the Axis has access to a wide variety of cheap and deadly grenades to chase Tommies out of cover with, and are clearly superior in the open, their Vet bonusses seem to be a bit over the top.

the problem here is obers/jaegers/panzerfusillers that seem to utterly destroy any number of British infantry once they get vet.
5 man double bren units not even tickling OKW inf. Just hold out till jagdpanzer/vet inf and you win as axis
Well maybe it was fixed partly? Also that was heavily favoured on the tommies because ingame those terminators would have been vet 2/3. So yes that wasn't a real scenario, but it did prove that okw vet does not walk allover brits like op claimed.

Brit inf is a bit tricky to use, i usually try to rush and keep them around important points so i can pick the cover/house and defend it. Using hmg's to suppress and then get close is good too.
Rifle grenades are really hard on brits due to the 4 man squads, but if you are in green cover the damage is really low. A lot of players make the mistake of trying to dodge too late resulting in wipes because the green cover damage reduction is lost, its better to just take it in green cover.
I do agree on that, commandoes were kinda eh even before this vet fix, id imagine they do need a buff in order to stay useful this patch.
You are saying it by yourself. I would guess that your test conditions are not very common. In most combat situations tommies will perform worse by far.
I'm even more afraid about Commandos getting worse by not scaling up with vet like other troops do.
Remember that they were vet 5, normally they would be vet 2/3 Also i tested them in more realistic sitations, yellow cover at medium ranges and they performed quite well.
Commandoes are bugged atm, ambush bonus only applies to one smg, or was it even only the first burst.
