Simply no, why are you trying to nerf every allied functioning units? Why you want to nerf Pack Howie? US only has Pack howie as indirect fire(lmao Scott).
Why do you want symmetrical factions? Pack howie makes this game and playing US interesting and you want to nerf it, ever thought about how US does not have panzerwerfer?
Stop making FACTIONS symmetrical because of your l2p issues. You want to maim US factions cant stand one performing unit where panzerwerfer be wiping vet 3 squads. How about give riflemen ability to make mg placements, sniper in US t2, Jumbo in t3 and M4A3 in t2 and remove pack howie once and for all.
OKW and OST both have pretty good indirect fire options themselves in Pzwrfr, Stuka, BB ability of Brummbar, mortar, leg whereas US has only pack because Scott got nerfed to an idiotic status where it is pretty much non existent. |
Do tell me where I went wrong here.
Was winning in engagements against OKW totally. Even caught his tiger out of position and killed it without losing the sherman, then came the real OKW bias. Second time tiger, 3 obers , 2 pfschreck squads = GG |
Nah man don't see it much nowadays. That commander requires way too much skills and microing the unit and hence people thought to not use it all. Only tourney players have the skills required to even think of using that commander. |
Yeah good topic! +100 |
Okay well, since this veered off into a full rework, let me put forward some ideas.
0CP - Pathfinders (260mp, 4 men, stationary camo, 4 M1 carbines with Volks Kar98 profile, 42 sight, reinforce beacon, Call in red smoke for Anti infantry loiter (like airbourne guards) or fake red smoke.)
1CP - Airbourne Engineers (280mp, 5 men with volks kar98 profile M1s, can lay M6 mines, trenches, reinforced wire, satchel, can upgrade with sweeper or flamer)
3CP - Parachute Riflemen (360mp, 6 men with M1 carbines, can upgrade with double elite bazookas or double M1919s, cooked grenade, can lay flare mines.)
4CP - Airbourne supply drop (400mp, drops a 30muni crate, a 15 fuel crate, an M1 AT gun and a .50 cal)
8CP - Air support operation (180muni, P47s strafe infantry, then rocket strafe spotted enemy armour, Airbourne riflemen can reinforce during this operation anywhere on map, 25% faster cap and decap)
nice looks beautiful instead leave paras at 3CP, no airborne riflemen required. |
You guys are correct, my mistake. I mixed up sbps when checking in Attribute Editor.
And is it really worse to have 2? Target entities are chosen randomly, no? So if you have 2 scoped Garands in your team, there's a higher chance that either one of them will target the low-health entity.
I like this thread, also Pathfinders dont scale pretty good in late games since there DPS does not scale up good against vetted Axis frontline infantry and also their reinforce cost is high. So they are mostly an early help infantry and scouting infantry late game. Also what I dislike the most is their camo removal when they move makes the whole camo thing pretty useless. I almost forgot they had camo lmao.
But the two different air support option seems good and reminds me of COH 1 airborne commander. Ah those good ol days. |
Ha I love this thread, Tiger is a problem right now, imagine we had to play Tiger with a barrage option, I literally don't believe any other allied tank has this option. As for the tiger, it can literally bounce anything frontally in the Allied units, yes I have had ISU-152 AT shells bounce on Tiger's frontal shell, imagine that. Stalin would have suicided if he knew such a thing existed in games.
What's more mad is that OST tiger comes in 9 CP right now and IS-2 at 10 I don't understand why tho, because IS-2 vs Tiger and IS-2 shells will bounce more on the Tiger's than vice versa, it is faster than IS-2. The CP requirement is about to change so I hope they become equal.
Additionally, to counter tiger Allies have to invest in TDs which are sole purpose TDs which can get flanked by a Puma or PZ IV to save face whereas if the any Axis tank other than Jagdpanzer IV has AI component that can be used to flank and eventually destroy any unguarded weapon. US has pershing as a cute joke with same fuel and CP as tiger whereas being in no place to even compete with it. Only one doctrine with pershing but that is understandable since pershing was unavailable in WW 2 i.e came in when the war was mostly over. Funny right we tend to historical accuracy only where we want to and not over the entire game. |

It is fine where it is at, if you want to balance it then nerf axis start games before nerfing T-70. Sick and tired of Axis fanboys always crying OP for any particular allied unit. You guys already nerfed Jackson enough bht still it is at 145 fuel |
- no one, ever
Said every allied fanboy, forever. Its typical of Axis fanboys to cry when every Allied unit is performing good. Like the jacksons nerf, was it needed? No. It can't even pen Tiger frontal armor or super heavies.
Axis fanboys cry pack howie wipes but what about Pzwfr or Stuka wipes? These units wipe out vet3 Allied infantry or support weapons when they are at vet 0, you don't see threads about that. |
Pershing needs to be redeemed again. Not enough Freedom power currently in Pershing. Decrease reload speed. Decrease Fuel and MP since it stands up to no Heavy Tanks in that bracket. Decrease scatter so no insta wipes on squads.
Make Obers reinforce cost expensive so as to prevent blobbing them and the army suffers if they do blob.
Subsequent grenade ability removed from Falls and Obers, literally no inf across the allied forces can use subsequent nade abilities.
AI mines for doctrinal units of USF other than Ass Eng. |
