I know it would cause other problems such as long searching times and such. But it would help. It won't. It would just be high rank AT stomping low level AT. It's simple: there's not enough good players in order to be matched with other good players. I'm gonna put a harsh example that occur to me on the last week and made me realize how bad it's the situation. 6/8 months ago i was around rank 30/70 on 2v2 AT. Then i entered a hiatus with my partner and play once 2 weeks ago. Lost 1 game as Axis (against 200) and won one as Allies (against +2000. 10min stomp). Our axis rank was 141 and 40ish as Allies. This, 8 months ago, would had been impossible. Either AT mmr/elo decay doesn't exist (which i'm sure it there for 1v1 at least) or there's really few people playing at high level. In: COH2 Gameplay

Maybe Bulldozer, KV2 n Brummbar could be better against garrisoned units but the rest are performing well. Against UKF: you are not supposed to hit an emplacement while braced. That's the whole point. Against OKW building/bunkers: DPS of previous weapons mentioned should be equal to pak/zis gun damage Against pak43: you are not supposed to engage them with vehicles. Pfff. They were using the no retreat, no surrender commander. They just cheesed with conscript and T34 spam. Ontopic: I sense this is mainly referencing the Heavy assault gun vs Fortifications thread. Mechanics should be change in order to improve gameplay, not to only satisfy realism. I wonder how any Allied player has ever won a game within the last two and a half years. You know, the time the Pak40 had this ability. And you know that the ability went from usable, unusable and usable again ? TwP on pak40 is fine, i'll see it mostly as part of the value of the unit. Zis got big crew and barrage, pounder has increased accuracy, USF got increased range and cheaper value, OKW is cheaper n has 0 movement penalty whiled cloaked with vet. There's only 2 things to argue: OH Puma TwP instead of aimed shot and having double penetration. In: COH2 Balance
