Is there that much a difference between nazi and soviet burning people inside farm ?
AND one of the numerous reasons the campaign was criticised (specially Russia)...
They might had made a realistically based SP campaign, but it didn't feel like a Company of heroes "Saving private Ryan" story. Some people expected more of a vcoh2 style of campaign, which would be more neutral friendly. |

People having problems with double SU snipers when there is no longer OP guards, Penals, clowncar (OKW now has snare), 120mm, etc. They used to have sprint, that was annoyingly OP. Nothing has change in favour of that style and they even introduced fixes and counters (detection) to it.
Not gonna mention doctrinal choices since that would be the ez way (Prosstruppen, MHT, any infiltration unit, single strafe if they are near the sides of the map...).
The reality is that the worst thing you can do is go on a stalemate fight were you just poke at each other. YOU KNOW something is fishy early on since you don't see units on the field. You get the advantage position since it takes a while till CE builds and Penals pumps out. Even more if he follows it with a sniper.
OKW: Kubel + Volks makes it really not effective to use double sniper. ISG will eventually kill it. More proactive, you can get P2. If they are alive till late game, a single Ober screened by a Volks (so they take the first salvo) will kill them easily (remember that they have to shoot from cover, cause if not they can't cammo and they take ages to shoot as well).
OH: heavy T1 with double mortar or fast tech T2. AVOID POKE COMBAT early on. After the first snipe (revealing his strat), back up your units and go to cap else where. If you want to fight, you have to fully commit into it so you at least force a retreat to get map control.
CE + Penal + 2x Snipers = Pio + MG + 3 Grens. I mention an MG, cause everyone starts making 1. A single Penal+CE won't stop a full push. Even more if your partner can move his Kubel to give you assist and recon.
If you can't shut it down early and not even with a fast 222, then just go full artyspam fest. Get a HT/FHQ(OKW)/bunker to get the reinforce in the front.
Snipers in general die to fast nowadays on teamgames. Soviet snipers are even easier to kill with indirect.

alpha version had mixed teams, it was incredible boring and the game felt not dynamic at all when you got mirror matches.
SU vs SU = resident sleeper
OH vs OH = let's see who can micro the sniper better or suffer less casualties from mortars.

Just return the super-light changes that Relic stripped form WBP. For Kubel, this means shared vet from infantry and a balancing of its maphax. |
As far as I remember the time needed to change windows is equal to reload time for all mgs. So yes, it does differ from one mg to another and no, the vickers is not faster at it than mg42. But it is still one of the best building mg thanks to the range.
From like +2 years ago:
team weapons which can be garrisoned within a building now share the same setup/re-position time of 4 seconds. This means a MG42 will take 4 seconds to switch windows and begin firing, as opposed to their old functionality which relied on their reload time. This creates more consistent behavior between team weapons and prevents some weapons from having delays as high as 6 or 7 seconds.

Vickers in a building can switch sides pretty quickly too. So even a two squad flank is difficult. Out of any MGs in the game I'd prefer the vickers. Yea might not suppress as quickly at vet 0. But it does a great job

Repair bunker => good idea for crap commanders as the defensive community commander
T4 repair station => i'll rather nerf all the other factions repair capabilities.
Why? Because overextending vehicles should be punished so late game, specially teamgames, doesn't revolve around spamming tanks. |

wow people are over-hyping OKW so much lool.
Last year: teamgames allies are so OP due to early game dominance into stupid late game Brits. Result: +15% difference on WL between allies/Axis.
Nowadays: the exact same values but on the opposite direction.
This numbers always comes with some inflation values due to people playing what's the "easiest" is on the meta (path of least resistance). |
