It can shoot on the tank and that results in suppressing the infantry behind it, due to AOE suppression.
On the other hand units like the Cromwell can fire smoke on the HMG itself.
Wasn't this fixed.
Fixed a bug where firing at non-infantry targets would suppress nearby infantry. Now suppression platforms will only deal AoE suppression if the primary target is an infantry model.
IS2 has it's uses on 1v1 and 2v2. Historically since the removal of multiple heavy tanks, they are not worth in 3v3+. This should be a huge clarification when talking about the worth of a unit. By contrast, super heavies behave in opposite ways.
IS2 IMO sees little use due to the commanders they are in. Whenever Shocks/KV8 are good, IS2 sees more use which is something which will change in the future patch.
Note: calling something OP or UP is entirely depending on meta and current power level of units.
Diablo mobile is for Chinese market where Blizzard's fan of WoW or Starcraft like to play on their smarphones.
Diablo3 isn't enough old to get its retirement period from the Western store. Now yeah maybe Western fans were maybe expecting another extension.
Note that I fully agree Blizzard work quality went down with Starcraft and Diablo. But WoW is still an amazing piece of work (even if I don't play it since long) and they always try to renew the experience with every addon. Can't deny that.
-Immortal is basically a re-skin of another mobile game done by a NetEase, a company with a not so good reputation.
-I'm not a Diablo fan, but you don't hype people saying you have a big announcement to do, and you reveal it's a mobile game. If you make a convention for mostly hardcore PC players, you don't close it with a freaking mobile game.
-WoW: i guess you didn't hear reviews about the latest expansion.
Their last Blizzcon should give you a real idea of what's happening behind the scene on Blizzard atm. Unless you just play OW or you are one of the few who still play WC3, you can see the effects of having the cofounders and people who worked for decades, leaving the company.
And I'm quite positive that THQ Relic was also different Relic then SEGA Relic.
That's how this business works, no one is immune so its hardly a newsworthy info.
Game developers, especially larger ones or under large publishers umbrellas do not make games anymore - they make money and if by accident they make a game, well, good for us I guess.
HELL, I could switch names and literally slap what is in that relic review onto my ex gaming employer, exactly the same situation, exactly the same issues.
I'm just saying that old Blizzard used to develop games for "gamers", because most devs were fans of their own products and they had the freedom to do so. The whole debacle on Blizzard which was brought by Diablo Mobile, is only a visible symptom of what's been happening during the last 5-8 years.
This kinds of news towards Relic or other companies isn't something to be surprised as you said.
That kind of reviews can be seen for literally ANY gaming related company with 50+ employees.
Hell, you have plenty of them nowadays for fucking BLIZZARD.
Well, Blizzard is no longer "old Blizzard" since they fuse with Activision. Slowly but surely they had been bleeding those good ol vet employees.
Unce upon a time, there was a unit which by gaining vet, you made it worse. Why? It was the only unit which could gain vet and didn't receive any benefit at all as it gained vet, but it gave more xp to the enemy.
Another idea for vet 1 ability.
-Identical stats to the normal barrage.
-Only fires 2 volleys instead of 4.
-2/3 of the cooldown from the normal barrage.
-Affected by vet. Small muni cost.
You trade fire volume for more constant smaller barrages at the expense of munition as well.
All vet 1, vet bonuses, XP values... should be look at and it should one of the highest priorities. This things have not been touch in 5 year in many cases, and can improve balance tremendously.
They do not have to be buffs they can simply bring something different to the table, in the case of kati it could be something as simply as incendiary barrage.
Agree.
But whatever you give it's a directly buff because right now, vet 1 is a net zero. The only way for it to not be a buff, if it you give them another zero.
The following is a list of useful and interesting threads relating to CoH2 tools and gameplay mechanics.
This is the revision for 2018. As we all know, as patches keep releasing, certain things might be outdated. While these threads and sites may provide easy access to information, remember that the only 100% accurate information is the one provided by the mod tools.
Any legacy information can be found in the spoiler below, if anyone wants to take a look at stats or state of the game in the past.

-Finding your replays:
C:User\xxx\Documents\MyGames\company of heroes 2\playback
Last replay is always saved as temp.rec if you don't specifically saved the file with another name.
-Updating your playercard
Go to your profile. Look for "Update profile". On the steam tab, introduce your steam id. Your steam id is a string of numbers which look like these "76xxxxxxxxxxx". A user can change as much as he wants there nick on steam, their number ID would always remain the same.
If you want others to take a look at it, set the steam visiblity to public.
-How to change hotkeys on CoH2 - Third party program
Most if not all veterans and pro players use some kind of hotkey programs to rebind some keys which are in most cases in annoying positions in the keyboard (looking at you tactical map).
