I remember that my Raketen got revealed by UKF's flare, but I have no idea which type of flare UKF is using. Clarification. This is ability based i'm talking about. Offmaps probably has other capabilities. This means both the OKW arty flares and UKF ones. What i don't know is the one which puts "mine flares" on every flag. I would assume those would not reveal units. In: COH2 Balance

Flares from sniper, to mortar and including the trip wire flare don't reveal cloaked units. I made a video in the past to show it to those who said this was the counter to the phase shift JPIV. Once you call a loiter plane, they start roaimng around in a specific area. You get X number of times to specify which area inside the circle you want them to strafe (aka single strafe planes). CoH2.hu would also only show you something along the lines of: experience_value=400 Apply_modifier_action: modifiers usage_type: multiplier add value: 0.2 something something: veterancy_experience modifier. This just means that you are giving more experience to the enemies with every level of vet. So nope, it doesn't matter for the discussion purposes. In: COH2 Balance

Although I completely agree that the amount of Fanboyism is too much and it is a general issue, not exclusive to this game (Other games, football, etc.) there is something you should keep in mind. Skill and knowledge are 2 different things. I completely agree that if a player starts a balance thread, they should have the tactical and strategic knowledge of the game and unit(s)/Situations that they are talking about, BUT they might not be skilled enough to perform it. 100%. The problem is that the main issue is the bolded part. 90% of the threads in balance deserved to be posted on stage office and the OP needs to ask for help first instead of coming here to rant about what strat he just lost to. How many threads have you seen where the OP knows what he is talking about? Replays? Stating which mode? Accurate game stats? It was reduced from 80 to 12 (thought it was 20...). Thats basically a change from "nowhere is safe because this ability can hit anywhere" to "this ability probably wont hit units its not targeting (unless theyre really close)." Well... that explains why it didn't seem like it "tracked" an enemy before. LOL. With that value, it might as well be random. In: COH2 Gameplay
