Thread: OCF recap thoughts29 Sep 2015, 06:41 AM There were some techical hick-ups in round 1, but I guess that is to be expected with that many players. An alternative to the Steam chat has to be found for the tourney messages, though. Due to the chatspam it was almost impossible to get the necessary info at round 1. Wrt. the various bans: I think players will just have to accept that someone has to make the decision about what to ban, and what not to ban. Do realise, that everyone is never going to be happy about these decisions. So maybe shoulder it instead of bitching to the tourney staff about it, right? In: Lobby

Jump back to quoted post19 Sep 2015, 10:43 AMRMMLz I don't wanna derail or go off-topic. But at this skill level, I think allies are more powerful. These guys have the micro skill and co-ordination. (Don't wanna start an argument, just sating my opinion) I watched the game yesterday. No doubt these guys have top-drawer skills, but many of them are 1v1 players most of all. They did not really use the gearing that is usually the deciding factor in 4v4 games past the ~15 minute mark. They mostly played 4 1v1 games with lots of infantry skirmishes all the way. The destructive power of the gearing on the axis side is unmatched. Brits might change that eventually, but I haven't seen that happen yet. In: Operation Charlie Fox
