Sometimes the issue doesn't merit further discussion when it's in flagrant defiance of all the actual historical work that's been done on the subject in the past few decades. This forum (and, not coincidentally, forums of games like Steel Division or Hearts of Iron) is the only place where I see anyone peddling the "clean Wehrmacht" nonsense that no proper historian would touch. 1. you do it again lol 2. yawn In: COH3 Central |

Ah yes, all those Germans defending their country in France and Russia. do you always bunch up complex historical issues which usually fill out dozens of bookshelves in a few sentences? In: COH3 Central |

Thread: Thanks for Taking Part in the Pre-Alpha Preview10 Aug 2021, 19:48 PM
Thank you for the Alpha. I love your game already. What baffles me the most every time is the fact that coh is like a war movie in every match. please make the camera able to zoom in as far as possible (like coh1 and coh2). That should be easy to implement. Even as a kid i did that all the time: zoom in, tilt the camera and pretend im within the battle. Also do as many different animations as possible (like leaning solders at corners or over cover, crouching, proning soldiers, soldiers giving hand signals etc. etc.) all that leads to the vivid and thrilling battlefield atmosphere we all love! That's my feedback ![]() In: COH3 Central |

Thread: At the end of COH1 and COH2...9 Aug 2021, 09:10 AM
When COH1 was no longer supported with updates, it left the game in a pretty bad state. Bugs like the infinite firing Staghound were a sign of sloppy programming, and the overall balance just indicated poor design. Yes, you could argue that the game, at least in a 1v1 setting, was balanced, but the elephant in the room that everyone seemed to try to ignore was that there was a pretty big skill gap between Americans and Wehrmacht (I won't be touching on the Opposing Fronts factions) where the units on their respective trees were balanced on paper, but in reality the American player had to be better overall than his Axis opponent. -playing US in coh1 1v1 was much easier than Wehr, so that point doens't hold -are you, by any chance, a 4v4 teamgame player?
