The volksgrenadiers with shreks can be effective yet they their fire rate is atrocious and get killed before they can shoot 2 rockets. The AT gun can be killed easily by 2 T/34's. And yes T/34 should get a fuel increase because they are to cheap for their effectiveness against the Germans. If handled correctly Puma can 1 on 1 T-34/76 especially when you jam the turret. Maybe it won't kill it all the time but it's definitely capable of causing heavy damage or retreat. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Maxims against OKW.9 Jul 2014, 00:31 AM There is one thing most people forget about when playing against heavy Soviet weapon team build. You can salvage EVERY one of them (!) which means you will be floating fuel provided you do reasonably well. Infantry support gun will help with this allowing you to snowball out of control (fuel + munition wise). Do recommend. Also salvaging prevents SU player from re crewing it again. In: COH2 Balance

But the biggest issue here is, most people that complain on the OP blobs simply refuse to get proper counters. Assault support is even better then it ever was for 1v1 and vetted HMGs are doom of all infantry. FHT could get some buff now that its T3 upgrade, but other then that there are all tools needed to ocunter blobs(except USF 1919 blobs, these are batshit op). Shouldn't MG42 be an anti blob weapon? It only purpose is crowd control and against US it does this poorly. When its Vet3 than that's a different matter but unit is dead long before that. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: The M1919 is too ridiculous8 Jul 2014, 11:12 AM Make the suppression as a "click on a target to active" ability that costs some munition. Similar how Guards button works. On the side note US force needs to be toned down. Their early game is very strong, their mid game is devastating and their late game is lacking no doubts but the advantage they got from early and mid game usually let them to seal the deal. Thread: A Versatile Army... Why no "Reward?"8 Jul 2014, 11:00 AM We only started complaining about blobs after US forces came out. Soviet blobs were annoying but they were not even near as potent. I am pretty sure one of the next balance patches will address this issue and US infantry will be toned down so they won't be able to just walk over everything. In the meant time I use ISG or Stuka to punish US blobs and it does work for me. The problem is that for me OKW is much stronger army than OH, especially in the late game. When playing as OH I do reasonable fine with my Grens, MGs and mortars until US player reach the critical mass of units and upgrades and is able just to walk over my army (literally). If not tweak MG42 slightly so itcan handle mid game US blob than at least tweak the accuracy penalty when suppressed so they can't actually kill my HMG regardless of being in yellow suppression state. Thread: Maxims against OKW.7 Jul 2014, 10:48 AM Nope. Tweak MG42 a bit and it will be fine. I like how the Maxim perform. It's MG that's a bit behind. MG34 should be on pair or a bit weaker with recent MG42 and MG42 should be a bit stronger. In: COH2 Balance

It is by far the best mortar in the game. It is too accurate and does too much damage to vehicles. Either decrease the rof or decrease its accuracy. Now it does have both. I think it actually does. OKW units are specialists in what they do. You start to nerf them all and soon there will be nothing left to use. Look what happened to flak truck. Completely useless while US one rage on the field killing everything. Recent meta is to get 2 of them and completely dominate. I don't even build it anymore because it will get killed 5 minutes after. You got enough problems early game as OKW. In: COH2 Balance
