I guess I'll set a couple of things straight here because Alex seems intent on spreading his usual drivel.

This has nothing to do with incremental accuracy as it is only enabled on HMGs and vehicle MGs

This has nothing to do with accuracy in general because suppression happens whether a shot hits or misses. AOE suppression probably requires a hit as otherwise some weird behaviour with it wouldn't make sense, but grenadiers have a 0.1 modifier on their AOE suppression so that's a really minor source of suppression.

This has nothing to do with blobbing because again AOE suppression is low as hell.

This also applies to obersoldaten basic rifles. And their STGs. No other infantry weapon has suppression apart from these three. I guess it should be noted that Jaeger Lights and Stormtroopers also use the grenadier rifle so they will suppress too.

Two full grens focusfiring a squad will suppress it in several volleys in red or no cover. Yellow cover will protect you from 3 squads but most yellow cover that actually covers anything gets destroyed fairly quick.


Frankly there isn't any change in the statfiles that would explain this so I'm assuming Relic has changed something about suppression mechanics in the engine.

One note about the Stug - it's almost 100% a typo by Relic, but it's near accuracy is 0.6 not 0.06.

My brain failed to accept Relic doing something that stupid so I read it as 0.06. That's utterly ridiculous, so much for the stug losing anti-inf power

Another missing change from my list is that Rear Echelons also got a 15% boost to their base rifles too, something which I also thought Relic was above doing, but apparently I overestimate them

Nobody good agrees the T-70 comes too late, not when you have good map control. Anything that results in t-70 coming out several minutes earlier than currently will be completely broken gameplay wise.

Even with those new values of 90 fuel for T3, the fuel required for the first t-70 would be reduced by 55 from 190 to 135. Still very much a 7 minute T-70 rush, completely comparable to the USF AA HT rush that already pretty much destroys ostheer, but with far better mobility and all the benefits soviets enjoy over USF.

The current problem with soviet T3 is that it only has value as a rush tech. Not only do your changes make it way stronger as a rush tech, it will now be the go-to choice in terms of lategame performance as well. Conspam with unupgraded T2 to T70 into endless T34/85s every game. You probably won't have to upgrade T2 or grenades at all, you will get such insane map control with the t70 that your opponent won't even be able to counter the first t34/85, nevermind the ones that will follow.
