I don't think open, smoke, trench, bunker, emplacement or defcover_narrow are used anywhere.

Wait like even in the patch from last week? Yes, because rotation only matters for the team weapon, it doesn't matter whether the other models lose it or not. The LEIG speed might have been broken after reinforcement, but I'm leaning towards it actually working because I think the infantry manning it would just play catch up to the gun irregardless of what their own speed is. Also as an additional note, there's two team weapons that get some extra trolly bonuses right now due to this stacking. One of them is LEIG. Which is getting 0.77^5 = 0.27 received accuracy at vet2 The other one is HMG34, which is getting 0.8^5 = 0.33 received accuracy at vet4. And 6 vision (addition) * 5 for good measure at vet5. They have some pretty impressive survivability thanks to this ![]() In: COH2 Gameplay |

Every single one of these changes was broken in this patch by a change from apply_to_entity to apply_to_squad for no apparent actual reason, they were all working correctly previously. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Having now checked the team weapons, I have good news. Every atgun, and all the static howitzers, and LEIGs, will gain fun stuff at vet2. All the atguns and howitzers will gain a rotation bonus of 130% to 200% (depending on squad), to the power of the number of members (plus the team weapon) in their squad at the time they gain vet2. So for instance a ZIS3 will gain a rotation bonus of 1.3^7 = 627% upon reaching vet2 with a full squad. If you hit vet2 with a less than full squad then it'll be less, and will never be increased either (without decrewing the weapon and vetting up again). LEIG, already mentioned, gains speed instead. #RelicTesting In: COH2 Gameplay |

No I didn't, I purposedly did not even look at any vet stuff because I'm sure not gonna comb through 200+ squad files to check for things like this, for free. LEIG has a *1.25 SQUAD speed modifier that is being applied to each ENTITY so it's actually a 305% speed modifier. Cute. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Assuming that relic didn't mess up any of the veterancy bonuses, this patch is fairly clean. Fairly. Balance changes in the March 10 patch: Royal Engineer vet1 cover bonus moved to squad file, and now no longer has a weapon limitation (previously only on default Sten) so they'll fire quite a bit faster with any weapon in the squad while in cover. Ostruppen accuracy malus moved to squad. So if you reman a team weapon with ostruppen the extras not manning the team weapon will have 50% higher accuracy than before. Land Mattress weapon priority set to -100, so it won't be hit by stuff before the crew is dead. Not sure I agree as its now inconsistent with other artillery pieces, but shrug. Q1: does smoke cover type applies ingame? No. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Land Mattress call-in not having any audio is an oversight or laziness, because it most certainly has proper audio in the files. https://clyp.it/1oqmk5xp Most other generic audio using abilities could also be given something far more descriptive from the unused files. In: COH2 Gameplay |

According to the latest Hotfix: Yes they changed them to 1/0.35/0.15 and added a 0.75 multiplier to damage against production_building I guess you're using the tools, they didn't update the xml files for them so they don't show the change. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Note on the 26/27th hotfix: Veterancy is broken again, that much I'm sure people understand. But you should know that we're actually worse off than from where we started, because Relic changed all the existing "apply_to_squad" veterancy that was working (received accuracy and sight bonuses, mostly) to "apply_to_entity", and this wasn't reverted, so now that they reverted the "apply_to_entity" code due to all the issues (rear echelon blobs etc), they won't work either. Only remaining infantry veterancy is ability changes and conditional (heal outside combat, sprint outside combat etc) buffs. In: COH2 Gameplay |
